New blog review

Hey there I'd like to show you my new blog and hope you can get me some feedback. It's my first blog so I probably made some mistakes.

Hi Maro,

It looks nice. The theme is good.

What I would think about for your next blog is becoming more niche specific. I think you'll find that creating a general porn blog with many niche categories will prove difficult to aquire traffic. Generally speaking, surfers are looking for trannies are not looking for MILFs and Asians. I think you'll be more successful attempting to build a series of hard linked blogs with a common theme.

Keep on trying because I see potential in what you're trying to do!

Thanks Artwilliams. I thought about the pros and cons of a general porn blog for a couple of days but I thought it would be a good idea to start with a generic blog. This way I could later use the blog as a main page and link new blogs together. But you're right I'll stick with Milf/Asian content at first and save the t-content for the next one :)

What do you think about subdomains? I can't afford an own domain for each niche so what about gathering each post on the root blog and create an subdomain for each niche?

Using this blog as a hub would be good.

I would suggest this process for your next blog:

(BTW, "Asian MILFs" is just an example. I haven't done any research.)

- Think about the niche (i.e. "Asian MILFs").
- Find matching sponsors.
- Research your keywords ("Asian MILFs" may be too popular and have too many webmasters trying to rank for it in Google. Maybe "Thai Cougars" is better.)
- Buy a domain that matches your keywords.
- Create a blog that someone would want to read / jerk off to with about 10 entries. Use your keywords liberally throughout your posts with the sponsors you matched up.
- Make brief posts on your general blog about the entries as you make them in the niche specific blog.

Repeat this over and over again until you have a network of blogs tied together with hard links. (i.e. MILF cocksuckers -> Thai Cougars -> MILF Brunettes -> 30+ Facials.) If possible, spread them out over multiple IP addresses. The idea is to create a network of related niches that grows, is a web, surfers find in Google and bookmark to come back to again and again.

Add to this hard link trades, directory listings, top list submissions. You could also create freesites and galleries where you use one of the outbound links to point to your hub.

Remember, it is easier to build 100 blogs that get 50 visitors a day then it is to create one blog that gets 5,000. Yes, quality suffers but that is reality.

My 2 cents.

Thanks for the summary Art :)
I already got a bunch of keywords (checked monthly views etc.) for each niche and also created a list of my sponsors and which content they provide. The only thing I'm curious about is the domain topic. Buying an own domain for each niche would cost quite a bit so I'm thinking about alternatives such as sub-domains. Would that do the job or would it be better to wait until I can afford more niche domains?

ArtWilliams 2010-12-11 11:19 AM

I've been told that top level domains (TLD) are best. Yes, there is always is a cost / benefit analysis. Remember, just one sale per domain means that the TLD pays for itself for 2-3 years. Also, you can spread TLDs across IPs. This is better for search engine results.

Okay I fixed the blog after one hour of keyword research and will focus on one niche until I can book the first sale, which will pay for a few niche domains. Then this blog will remain as my hub.

Hey guys I could really need your help here.
I visited my blog www.dailypornpost.com this morning and suddenly I received an error:

Warning: require(/home/mccoffee/public_html/dailypornpost.com/wp-includes/load.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/mccoffee/public_html/dailypornpost.com/wp-settings.php on line 19

Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required '/home/mccoffee/public_html/dailypornpost.com/wp-includes/load.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/mccoffee/public_html/dailypornpost.com/wp-settings.php on line 19

Though what can such an error occur?

Very nice blog. I would recommend to perform onsite SEO.

I'm trying to SEO optimize the blog since the beginning and so far it works out. Search Engine traffic's increasing every week and I'm ranking for 3 of 5 keywords.

I'm quite happy with the outcome and currently planning on building a second blog for the network. Maybe a BBW blog, but we’ll see :)

Your blog posts look pretty good.

Not sure why you have a "sponsors" category that link to the actual sponsors affiliate areas instead of to paysites for the surfer...

A cougar lovers blog - awesome ;)

WarmKiss 2011-02-11 02:21 AM

not bad at all, excellent design for milf-lovers. Not sure if I would use the word sponsors but pretty good all together
