Porn site for sale

Hey guys. Some things have come up in my personal life and I'm going to be slowing it down for a while.I'm still going to be submitting sites here and there but right now I just don't have the time to maintain it full time like I used to.

This really sucks but.....If anyone is interested....I will consider selling my baby...Dickheadshit.com.

It's a PR 2 and it has an Alexa rating of 273,266 and a net worth of $11628.It comes with TGPX standard edition,an arcade room graphics, logos, over 250 free sites and I'll write out some instructions on how to operate it etc. For newbies or SEO guru's this is a HELL of a head start. It makes me good money just sitting around doing nothing.

As for LOR,Tommy's etc. and all my hard link trades- I'm still in the game so don't worry about my sites, trades etc.I'm a man of my word and will notify the board if my site ends up with a new owner or if any changes are made.

This is really hard for me guy's.I know Dickheadshit.com isn't
the greatest porn site in the world but it's my baby and I love it.In a month or 2 I might be able to do this full time again but in the mean time, if anyone makes me an offer I can't refuse,PM me. :(

Wow Star Man..sorry to hear and I wish you all the best no matter the result of selling.

Well Good Luck on selling.
But if you said it makes good money while you doing nothing and in a near future you will be back full time re-think this.

Sven800 2009-02-07 02:03 PM

with a net worth of over $11,000 it is out of my price range. Even if you don't update it for a while it might be worth hanging on to?

Star Man 2009-02-07 04:46 PM

Just for the record, this morning that site did say it was worth $11628 (I copy and pasted it) and now it went down to $8854.9 ....kinda weird.

Sven800 2009-02-07 07:51 PM

Those estimates seem to be a bit on the high side...

Those estimates aren't based on facts. That's why they are so high.

Most link lists aren't worth the bandwidth they're printed on. There are maybe 15-20 lists which are worth more than $500 and most of those are probably valued in the tens of thousands of dollars. Everything else is shit, and that's me being optimistic. The reason most small link lists simply fade away and quietly shut down is because we owners would rather get nothing for them than publicly acknowledge that we've put years of work into a website that can't fetch $300 on the open market.

When I'm ready to cash out, I'm going to have cd34, my web host, replace all of my sites with a simple 404 page that'll be nothing more than a photo of me smiling, giving you all the thumbs up, and the words, "FUCK YOU."

I agree with UW about the value of LL's...

the value of a LL is a very complex thing, lots of factors...
If you say or think your LL is worth $3.000 some of that price is based on how long it takes for the buyer to recoup his investment

I've read and agree that if a LL's makes the owner $300 a month then times that by 6 or 12 months in advance, I've also heard as high as 16 to 24 months of monthly income that the site makes

If times are tough and they are, I would just keep your network, and get a parttime or full time job and cut your submitts down, as I am thinking on doing, No more new people unless they are a well known GG&j member or a good friend of one

I havent built anything new for over a year, and I still make enough residual income to pay my bills and buy my pain meds, just the copays are high enough, only thing I can't help my wife pay hardly any of the other bills a familly has

so If I would have sold out when my LL was rocking in Google traffic, today I would have no income at all

Exactly!

Forget about estimates. How much it make monthly and can you prove it? If so, 6-9 months income for a small site is normal. Large traffic sites work differently on resale value.

HowlingWulf 2009-02-08 11:27 AM

Why sell it when you can just put it on auto pilot for a month or two until you have time again?

horndog 2009-02-08 02:23 PM

Sorry to hear Starman. I know you probably put a lot of work into the site so I hope things work out for you!

Now that’s depressing! Well for $300 bucks you could enroll in hamburger hell university and start a career slinging flapjack cow patties to hungry son of a bitches that need to eat. Life always has options.

Thats probably going to be what I end up doing.I guess it's sorta like UW said - You put all this work into something and it doesn't amount to shit.A little part of me just wants to take my money (even if very little) and run I guess.

I started this thread originally just to say I was going to slow it down a bit for a couple of months and just ended up getting all manic.I'll tell ya - When times get tough, this is a depressing fucking business.

Ha! Look back at the threads from last week and you'll find mine with almost the same title as your thread here. I totally freaked out and thought I needed to sell one of my link lists. Glad everyone talked me out of it. Hang in there!

Pagan 2009-02-09 08:53 PM

Starman, your site is different because it is *you* and it has a lot of your personality all over the place. I bet you will find enough time to update it even once a week with a few submits to keep it fresh. Like your best friend, it will be there for you when you have time to come back to the fold. If you have a trusted buddy, maybe they will review your subs for you so that you have a nice clean list to use whenever you have the few spare minutes??

I really hate to see you lose that site. I enjoy it, even though I don't build much in your categories.

Naw,my frieds are to fucking dumb to do this lol.My best friend is about to complete his PHD in neuro science and he thinks I'm some kind of fucked up genius. Not just for porn - we both took IQ tests together and I scored much higher then him. :D

Looks like if you want to get something done ya just gotta do it yourself.Thats another thing about this industry - Did you know that what are considered some of societies 'brightest' people think were fucking brilliant? It's true!

I'm going to make sure I keep up with reviews,I just need another week or so.
