Not as funky as the past few days, but it is early...

|hockey| I have Nashville & Pittsburgh in a pool & if they both make the finals, I win $800 (have I said this before? lol) Fucking Ottawa! |angry| I'm almost tempted to ask the guy that has Ottawa if he wants to split, but I'm broke & greedy :D Game 7 is tomorrow night & I REALLY hope Pittsburgh wins (sorry Ramster)

Hi all!

Cup is different from league.
Teams from the 4th upper league's meets in playoffs and eventually the two best teams meet in the last final match.

We're in 4th league. Today we met probably one of Norway's best teams (They are in top three of the premier league.)

WE gave them a hard match. They scored, after a while, 0-1.
Did we give up? NO! We scored 1-1 a few minutes later.
This (so called) top notch team shattered.
the supporters from our team out-sang the other supporters, by far!!!
2nd term, we dominated the match for at least half the time.
But. (Seriously, we ARE 3 levels below) we lost. 1-3.
But morally, we won. We fought them and we OUTSANG them.

MFK are the best, although we're currently not up there |thumb|waves||loony||lol||lol|

Other than that, WOuld have been a Wonderful day, still!!

If this Hockey ridden board ever would choose to delve into Soccer.

Actually, I know very little about soccer, unless it's the World Cup when I get to root for USA for 2 weeks until they blow up :) But I do know COYS because I'm still in touch with Jel (old poster) who is a HUGE Tottenham Hotspur's fan :D

HEHEHEHEE!! Been there, tried it, hated it. Growing up, my dad was passionate about baseball (LA Dodgers), and my mom still is a Boston Red Sox fanatic. Bleh. Give me American Football and I am happy. But, I live in a country where we don't play that sport. I don't really care much about basketball or volleyball either.

Now, hockey is a different thing here in Finland. While I did watch in the US before I moved, there were really not that many games on. Hockey is in the blood here. If you don't play it on the ice, you play field hockey.
