I think Greenie is obsessing about TGPX and forgot to start the morning thread so here it is.

It's going to be 7c today and double digits this weekend so hopefully spring has sprung in Toronto.

I've got a usual day here except I am meeting a prospective client for coffee this afternoon. I can't tell you how many jobs I've NOT gotten in the last year. It would be nice to land this one even though its a small one.

Still working on my TGP. The owner of the script said he would look at my problem but there is one thing more I may try on my own. I am getting impatient about getting it going. Hopefully, soon.

I have 2 analogies for my last 24 hours:

1 - For over a year, I've been pounding nails into a piece of wood on a daily basis using a screwdriver because I never bothered to read the box the nails came in which clearly says "USE HAMMER"

2 - Remember the lady that bought a computer in the early 2000's & called to complain that her teacup kept falling out of the cupholder? I've been wondering why my teacup repeatedly falls out of the cupholder for over a year.

Anyway...

I had to unfriend & block a guy I've known for 35 years on Facebook yesterday because he keeps sharing Fake News, says my sources that prove him wrong (like Wiki, Snopes, etc.) are being controlled by the Left, repeatedly goes into whataboutism mode, changes the subject when you ask him a question that you know debunks whatever nonsense he's sharing, calls my friends names & makes fun of their appearance when they attempt to debate him like an adult, accepts no responsibility when you do prove him wrong & leaves the posts up there, and yesterday when I asked him a legit question about a truly fucking ridiculous theory he shared, he told me it was too "over my head" and that I basically wasn't intelligent enough to comprehend it. It sucks, too, because he's a great guy that I have a lot in common with, but I'm just fucking done.

I did throw my hands up in the air on the day & watched The Post which was decent. I kinda expected more from a Spielberg movie starring Tom Hanks and Meryl Streep, but I will say that, after recently watching a doc on Ben Bradlee, Hanks played him perfectly!

Work, grocery shopping for my mom, the ASSIL, and back to work for me today :)

Trying to download a photo zip a model sent me but this fucking internet is so bad it kept failing last night, hoping it works now or I'll be heading to Starbucks to download and buying a $3 coffee lol. Nothing planned here other than this, working on the laptop.
