What the frick is actually going on with this board?

Everytime I login I see 100's of users viewing the forums but no-one ever posts anything.

Are these all bots?

You missed this board's hay-day by quite a few years. This was the mecca for free site builders and submitters, and link list owners. Such things barely exist today. This was, in my opinion, the best and most welcoming board for newbies and non-scumbug webmasters. Little drama, lots of friendship and assistance.

Tube sites destroyed our end of the affiliate market, so many of us retreated back into the wilderness.

A lot of us read much much more than we post. Not only does it keep the drama down, but what is posted is usually more meaningful than a bunch of mindless drivel.
