Anyone else having issues with ICQ?
 

Like not receiving messages?

It's been working fine for me, had a nice chat with Ed from LotzaDollar$ this morning.

I've been talking to myself on it all day.

I've had trouble connecting to a few people others are fine. I first noticed it last night.

Yah it started yesterday, very early in the AM.

i think it's a trillian issue..cuz i was yakking with Candi yesterday then nothing.. she finally downloaded icq direct and we've been yaking away ever sense..

ICQ Pro won't let me add new contacts. I get error #113. Been too busy to look it up.

Trillian has been orphaning added contacts for ICQ for some time, and adding duplicate orphaned entries as well. It is isolated to ICQ, the other messengers within Trillian are working fine for me.

Yep, I ran into this yesterday as well. Apparently ICQ changed a few things and 3rd party IM clients have to be updated to work. I use Miranda...updated to the most recent build and changed a dll file...all is working again |thumb

Yah it's working for me now also. Got my logs working and everything is ok. Keep in mind that you have to have Trillian 3.1 (or upgrade to it) for the ICQ issue to be resolved.
Mike that has been happeneing to me also. Not sure what the problem is, but I always have to readd the UINs.

Unfortunately mine seems to be working. I have been getting yours....

AOL has "slightly" changed ICQ protocol, caused the impossibility of messages delivery to some alternative ICQ clients like Miranda, Qip and other. Updating of the client solves a problem. And here I thought people were just ignoring me!

Yeah My ICQ is all messed up ... I think. I am not sure if it's the other people who arn't getting my messages or vice versa. Either way it seems to be a common issue right now for everyone.

So if you think i am ignoring you .... i am probably not ... or am i??|jester|

I have had the same problem. I have had several people add me to their lists recently and when I try to add them I get the same error message. But just goes with what I have said for years, ICQ SUCKS!
I am amazed at how much business takes place with this less then reliable program
