Google is giving some loving
The latest update is treating me nicely. Regaining some positions that have been goe since the beginnig of 2016.
How is it for you guys? . |
SWIM looked at their Analytics on a couple of their "bigger" domains & all look to be up starting last Wednesday |thumb
The odd thing is that 99% of their Google traffic shows Keyword (not provided) |huh |

Add This just informed SWIM that traffic across all the sites SWIM uses them on was up 11% from the previous week. Here's a bar graph for all the nerds :D
http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/...1&d=1521487376 SWIM also looked at all their GA stats & ALL had an increase in SE traffic over the last few days. Some were small, like 1-2/day. Some were big, up 100/day. Most were moderate at 15-30/day. But a majority of those had 0's for the previous 10 days |thumb |
Checked my stats. SE traffic definitely up across all my sites, not that I've ever gotten much love from big G, but I'll take it.

This is what the last month for Camfoxes looks like at Semrush:

Keyword "not provided" means that Google is hiding string referrers behind those hashy url's. IP and timestamp ( and god knows what else ) sensitive. Five or so year old story. Basically it means that they get all the data just for themselves. |banghead| edit: it's worth mentioning that all the browsing privacy started with this one. |
If you're tracking stats using data in http headers, anything coming in via https links will be encrypted, so most of the data is not accessible by your stats tracking software.
I pulled up the stats for my five main sites, SE traffic over the last week has nearly doubled. That's still not a huge amount of my total traffic, but I'll take it. |
I doubt it will last. It never does. Its always the honeymoon for us when the updates are rolling out. Then 2-3 weeks later, the bill comes due. |boobies|

http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/...1&d=1522068078 The last 3 days |scared| SWIM, but yesterday was basically the same as 3/15 & 16 when this started, so SWIM has hope :) |

After losing around 30% of my google traffic I had a couple of really good days but now I'm back down again :/

Mine looks kind of like that. Quick rise, back down then a slow rise for the past few days.

SWIM has a site that used to be hugely popular in the SE's that basically mirrors what we're all seeing:

SWIM also has some smaller/newer sites that got little or no love before the 15th...
http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/...1&d=1522751409 SWIM thinks all this is |thumb |

SWIM's traffic was up 12% over the previous week: http://www.greenguysboard.com/board/...1&d=1523276249 SWIM is happy :) |
My graph appears to show the same dynamics. Right now at less than the 16th but still significantly higher than the beginning of March.
Knock on wood. . |
