Friday April 28th (aka Still No Meds)

Morning! |loony|

My doctor still hasn't gotten back to me about changing my script to a new pharmacy |angry|

Right now, there is nothing other than that....

Afternoon :)

Greenguy, they should incorporate what we have here.
Electronic scripts. I can take out my meds in any pharmacy I like. All over the country. Now, we're just about 5mill people, so I understand the last bit would be kinda impossible over there, but locally, should be doable. And now you've got this fellow who makes everything great, too! (Sorry, couldn't resist)

I've used all day at my Orthopedics-place, trying new shoes, prints for my new shoe soles and other stuff I need to walk properly.

Worn out, so I will jump into Elder Scrolls Online, and that's about that today

Good Morning :)

Wife is off today as she takes off for the weekend later this afternoon|bananna|

Have some grunt work to do and of course I need exercise so it will be the |rimshot| program. On Monday I had the Scorpions workout, Wednesday was the KISS workout, yesterday the UFO workout and today will probably be a Random play list. I'm enjoying my exercise schedule :D

Have a good Friday!

Yeah, we have a similar thing, except they are not electronic. We can take a paper script to any pharmacy. Happend to me a couple of weeks ago. Picked up my script, took it to the pharmacy, and their chemist had gone to lunch. So I walked five minutes down the road to the next pharmacist. No problem.

Of course we also got a nice Government what pays for the meds for us too! |couch|

That's kinda the problem: it is an electronic script. I can have it sent to any pharmacy I want, but once it's there, it's theirs. I can't even take it or have it sent to another pharmacy in the same chain! (in this case, Rite Aid) They put all these new rules in place because of the opioid epidemic* over here. I was told today that technically they're not supposed to fill your next script on the 30th day of the old one - that you have to come in on the 31st day when you're out & have it filled. The pharmacist on duty has the discretion of filling it on the 30th day, but I was told you can only do that 7 times over the lifetime of the script.

* These new rules do make it basically impossible to get controlled substance scripts early or thru multiple doctors. I used to abuse the old system as much as possible in order to get a few extra or to have a script filled early because I was out & didn't want to go thru withdrawals. But, that was 3 years ago & I am glad I'm off of them |thumb

Can everyone tell I got my meds this afternoon? hehehehe

Wow... We are like Jolly. Our prescriptions are all electronic. Kinda nice, really. Most of the time, we can get refills just with a phone call. I've never tried the controlled substance thing here, so I really don't know if you can get them early or not. Then again, we don't have the drug issue the States has.

Now.. how cool is this.. http://img.yle.fi/uutiset/kotimaa/ar...ieasema%20kiss

They say this will be up until the day after the KISS concert. This is our main, historic railway station - much like Grand Central Station in New York. Those huge statues were designed by Eliel Saarinen. His son Eero did the St. Louis Arch. This is also May Day weekend, so we celebrate!
