Watched a documentary called The Cove last night. Makes me think about turning veggie again.

Eased off the pain meds yesterday and even felt coherent enough to build/sub a freesite last night. Of course now I need to look into this epass crap. Thankfully for me just a couple hundred in the wallet to pay for partner accounts. Hard part is started having some sponsors pay by epass because of webmaster checks issue...so now what?? Oh Joy!

Morning all. I didn't have a lot in ePass, but enough to pay my TGP partner accounts for a few months, but money is tight and that means a lot to me. :(

I'm screwed because at least 2 sponsors I can think of epass is my only option as I don't make enough to justify the $30 wire fees. :(

Hopefully, they can free up that money and move it into our wallets soon

Good morning. So this epass thing. What if you have a bank account linked up with them. Can't you transfer the money in and out that way. Just kinda another way of getting money to people for things? That's all I have used it for.

Anyway. So today it's minimal amount of work. Was up really late last night working on stuff though. So makes up a little I guess. My old roommate that does stuff for kink and also making her own movies is flying in today. A little hanging out and fun with her and then my friends wife is throwing a kinda surprise birthday at the wave house for him and his twin brother. I guess she rented the wave for everyone for awhile. |thumb An awesome start to a long weekend.

Then later a friend that was in town a couple weeks ago is back in town to bang this one chick he hooked up with while out here. So I'll
meet up with him and his chick for some drinks later.

I felt sad for the dolphins watching this. What I didn't understand was why they didn't just use a remote controlled blimp with a camera attached to it and fly it over the spot to capture the images. I mean all that sneaking around. I understand it made for a build up for the movie and stuff. But god it seems like they made it about a million times harder than it needed to be to get the footage.

My understanding is that they had two bank accounts or some partnership agreement with the bank that gave them Visa privileges. The bank that was holding the money for the Visa side lost their ability to process with Visa. If you have money in the Wallet, you can send money to people or pull it out to a US checking account or have it wired. If it is in the Virtual Visa account, that money cannot be moved anywhere -- ATM, Visa, to your Wallet, etc.

As far as I know the partner bank which whitelabeled Epassporte's Visa portion hasn't lost their charter, they have only lost the ability to process with Visa. So, the money should still be there. Getting it moved from the Visa side to the normal side may take some time since the bank needs to convince people that all of the accounts belong to people and aren't used for money laundering, etc.

I suspect the amount stuck in that bank equals the production deficit for the movie Middle Men. haha I read somewhere, $20m budget, $787k in domestic ticket receipts.

You know, I read about the ePass thing last night & then just put it out of my mind until I got here to the board. Life was pretty decent for the last 16 hours :D

I have so much fucking work to do it's not even funny - plus I have my big Fantasy Football Draft here tomorrow that I need to get ready for. I really need a clone - like the 1st one in Multiplicity, not the 3rd one!

My suggestion is stay calm wait until next week then we will be back to normal or have other solutions in place, money are safe and we are not going anywhere. We have been open about this from the beginning and is not hiding from questions and funds in the Wallet can be withdrawn but for now not the money on the virtual card because the cards are suspended.
