Tell me how this make sense

I get an email from ARS the other day letting me know I'd made a sale, and in the email was this:

Also, if you run blog or tube sites, submit them here http://www.porngumbo.com
At first I thought maybe it was just for "legal" tube sites, but nope. Plenty of full length videos available. And what really cracked me up was this quote from their introductory paragraph:

We also have picked out some of the best paysites online.

PornGumbo only accepts legal tube sites. If you see something on there that isnt, please post the name of it here so I can remove it.

Sometimes people try to pull a fast one over by changing their site after a submission, redirecting, etc. These links will be removed when found.

What is wrong with the introductory paragraph?

Are you willing to list completely legal tube sites which contain full length movies? If the clips are full length, it doesn't even matter if they're stolen or not -- it clearly works against the best interests of the industry.

We're totally fucked if respected members of the industry can't understand that.

No, I only approve ones that are using sponsor generated promo clips.

More than 1/2 of the listed websites are smut.com subdomains. Personally, I think if someone is serious about running a legitimate adult business, they should use their own domain name on a paid server.

this has no sence)))

When is was looking at it this morning, I was finding a lot of full length videos. I was just wondering why anyone would need a paysite with all those full length videos. |huh

A lot of the paysites release shorter, poor quality clips for us to use as teasers, with the promise of better quality, longer videos once the visitors join. Why would any sponsor in their right minds release the good stuff for free? Make them short, cut them off right before the good stuff, and make them of a lower quality. I have no issues with any of that.. but... why bother keeping a paysite up if you are going to allow the tube sites to have your best stuff for free?

According to Choker, we all just "don't get it." But then, he's brokering tube traffic. |banghead|

Those are webmaster BLOGS from our free hosted BLOG service. Hence thats why they submitted them to a BLOG directory.

There were a few that started redirecting to another URL that had full length, I deleted them from the db.

The longest promo clips I have seen given out are like 5 min which I think are too long. Its more for branding purposes, but tube owners still use them. Our program HDpays.com gives out 1 min clips, which I think are the ideal length.

I dont have anything against a legal tube site. They are the new TGP and there isnt anything you can do or say that will stop it. The term "tube" is rising fast on google. "tube porn" alone is up to 5 million searches a month.

When done right, its a better way to view promo content, and surfers understand the layout. Its an industry shift and you should be on board. There will just be a battle between legal owners and people who have full videos and allow uploads.

There are a number of legal "free pay sites" that buy bulk content and do this. It is all on the up and up. They want you to sign up for a cam membership to pay for the cost of the BW and make help them a profit. On the site there are a ton of movies and such, none of it stolen. These days, why buy a membership to porn site unless your looking for something VERY specific. If you're just looking to something to wack off to then there are lots of choices (legal or not so much) around.

Somehow I expected the ARS directory to have a ton more listings...
