I shit you not.
He just won 2nd place in his first body building event ever, the All South NPC held this past weekend in Florida.
This means he goes to the Nationals in Georgia. Move over, Arnold, here comes the Benmeister..

I asked him last night what he was eating as a diet. He told me water, protein shake stuff, eggs and lots of chicken and brocolli. He hated brocolli as a kid!! Actually if it was green, he used to try to give it to the dog..
Maybe I should try it.


I told him he should go as far as he could with it cause he sure did something right so far. And smile for the camera and the room. He has a beautiful smile. I said "Ben, work that room with your smile and body. Make every woman want you and every man want to be you."

Gawd..just what he needs..a stage mother..

As a former ISSA certified trainer I would say his future is bight in Bodybuilding. Good definition and symmetry. Hope he always remembers to thank Mom & Dad for the genes. |thumb

he and his brother (there is another one, not built to that extreme but handsome too) played football since they were 7-8, both got full football scholarships to college and have worked out since they were kids.
Ben has fluctuated from heavy to less heavy but in the past year discovered a passion for training that I think was always there. He works a day job from around 6 am till around 4 pm then goes to the gym till about 10 at night daily and spends weekends training or riding his bike (he didnt get a Harley but a Honda..ughh..). I don't think he does roids because the contests are supposed to be clean and I think they get tested.
I think he found something he really enjoys doing and I hope he runs with it, you know?
This being his very first ever competition has him a bit astounded and excited to go to the nationals. But I did tell him there will be some pretty hefty competition and be ready to work hard and long cause it may not happen this time. But he does look great, doesn't he?
