Woke up to see USA won 🥇 in 🥌 🤯

The couple that came to the Open House on Sunday came back last night for a private showing & stayed for 90 min |thumb And, they wanted to come back again so they could see the outside in the daylight |banana| So I'll be packing up my mom & the dogs at 12:30 |escape|

Other than that, like I said yesterday, I'm burnt out. The Bitch & I already have plans for Sunday which involve the TV, couch, and snacks :D

Going to play basketball this morning for an hour or 2 then back home for a day of working, how exciting. Oh my hockey team is playing at 2pm so I'll watch that while working.

Rant time: I say my hockey team but if they trade the best player, Eric Karlsson who is arguably one of the best players in the world and a generational player that is very hard to come by, they may not be my hockey team anymore. They won't be worth supporting unless they get a superstar player back or they'll move because the consensus here in the city is the same... trade Karlsson and you will lose us as a fan is pretty much 90% of people's thoughts.

Still sick thou I think a little better than yesterday. Today's game plan is to just sit, nap and rest in hopes this shit goes away and does not infect my wife.

I did watch Mindhorn on suggestion from my son. Of course the beginning was kinda bad and we figure our son was watching this with his actor friend and they were stoned. Thou, past the half way point we found it funny but we're not sure if it just dumbed us down by that point or we got a contact high by making fun of our son and friend being high |lol|

Come on, you know that after a couple trips to The Beer Store they will be forgiven and you all will be supporting the team with a little cursing, maybe a lot, under your breath. :)

It's warming up in Palm Springs which is good. It will be in the 20sC (70sF) tomorrow.

Went to see Peter Cetera (of the band Chicago and a big solo career) tonight at the local casino. Fun show. You can smoke in the casino gaming area which is really weird because in Canada you can't smoke inside ANY public space. Also different is the term "Indian" seems to be okay. In Canada, you say aboriginals or native peoples otherwise our Prime Minister shames and corrects you.

Having a glass of wine and then it's off to bed. Hope you all had a good day. Mine was fine. |thumb

The Beer Store? I'll have you know that we can buy beer and wine -- no hard liquor -- in SOME grocery stores now. That makes us only 40 years behind the USofA.
