Does anyone know why not one company that makes, sells or installs kitchen countertops will tell you the price per sq foot of them on their website? |angry| Like I want to price these fucking things by going from store to store & making a list |banghead| Personally, I'm fine with plywood :D but, much like my grass-to-the-house philosophy on plants & shrubbery, The Bitch doesn't like that idea|lol|

Watched |hockey| at Yell's last night & we're going to breakfast with him & his woman in about 20 min. I'm starting to like living 7 miles away better than 7 houses away :D

After that, it's appliance shopping (we currently don't have a fridge or stove in the kitchen), countertop pricing |banghead| & general kitchen planning for what I know will just cause |facepalm| after |facepalm| after |facepalm|

Because they want you in the store to talk you into buying from them before you check out anyplace else. It's the same reason that, at least here, any work done on your house they want the wife to be present during the bid/sales pitch. They believe the wife will give in easier and the husband will be a good lap dog and agree with her. This drives me crazy and it's the number one reason why a lot of things have not been done here as I usually tell them to piss off.

Enough of my bitching, not much going on here today but a little work before family shows up for the normal Sunday get together.

I knew Home Depot had them posted on the wall & there's 4 prices: A, B, C, D. The pamphlets had the letter next to the name. So I grabbed one of each pamphlet & took pics of the prices on the wall. The guy asked me what I was doing & I explained to him that no one posts the prices online. He had no idea & thought that was weird, too. My problem now is the lowest price they have is $50/sqft & we need roughly 50 sqft - fucking $2500 min for what I could do with $200 worth of plywood :D

Forecast says it will be cooler now (but still nice and warm when it comes to Norway) and I'm actually looking forward to it. This heat-wave has been quite energy-draining.
I've not been able to work much this weekend, although it was on the plan.

I've been practicing new songs and guitar 3am in the morning, only time it's been cool enough to actually do something.

Well, busy week ahead. Will get my first eye surgery wednesday.
My right eye will be treated for cataracts on wednesday and left eye in a few weeks.
Right is the absolutely worst of them and the last few weeks I've literally been seeing worse from day to day. If I close my left eye now, all I see is the green color of this board. Absolutely nothing else.

So, imagine, I'm really looking forward to get my sight back!

Well, I have a few songs to practice today (eeeh, night) as well, so... here we go
