Monday - May 1st - Happy May Day!!
 

Beginning of a new month AND a new week. Nice, sunny day even slightly on the warm side. Great day to stay inside work.. NOT!! This is our traditional first day outdoors, no matter what the weather is. Finland has been celebrating the beginning of our summer all weekend with gatherings, ice cream, balloons, treats. Too nice to be indoors!!

I hurt :( After taking Saturday off from getting the yard & pool area ready for the sale, we spent of yesterday outside. All I have to say is that it's a good thing we have family, because they helped out BIG TIME these last few days! Afterwards, we took everyone out to dinner & spent some more of the Garage Sale money :)

Today's kinda busy. Aside from work & picking up the ASSIL, the pool is being opened for the 1st time in 3 or 4 years and we're getting a new washing machine delivered (Sears gave us $4k in credit - SUCKERS!)

I guess I better get at it....

So todays two hour walk is over and now it's work.

But my favorite show EVER starts today and I hope it's available on torrents fast.

Good morning :)

Had a great sleep after working pretty much all day until almost 8pm last night. Sat down to watch the Edmonton Anaheim game, got comfy and turned it on, 20 seconds left in the first period lol. |pokefun| ME The remainder of the game was good but damn the Oilers had a lot of defensive holes, they better clean those up in the next game or they won't win another.

After my great sleep I did get up at 5:30 and started working by 6am so here I sit worked planned all day. I am busy busy busy again which is good. |thumb

We were at dinner & they had the game on. It seemed like every time I looked at the screen, the Ducks had just scored lol

Dang, the stuff we miss over here in Finland. About the only NHL we see how is when Winnipeg is playing. Some kid named Patrik. Sigh.

My dear old workhorse computer is dying. I have no direct net connection anymore. I think after 5 years of abuse, she needs a time out. I don't want to buy a new one right now - at least not until we know what we are doing on buying a house. So, soon. Until then, I have this dandy little dongle thing (called a mokkula here) that lets me connect. We shall see how much work I can do with it. I do have my laptop, but it's a Chromebook with no hard drive. Between the two computers, though, I bet I can make this work until we move. Such excitement!
