Well since I got divorced back then, here's a few:
Stones: Sleep Tonight Trooper: Oh, Pretty Lady Karaoke time: Percy Sledge: When A Man Loves A Woman George Micheal: Father Figure Tom Jones: Deliah Rod Stewart: Maggie May |
Prince - Little Red Corvette - or anything from Purple Rain
Kool and the Gang - Celebration The Time - The Bird (though I met and knew both Prince and the Time from Minneapolis - so I'm a bit jaded) |
1. Duran Duran - Rio
2. Duran Duran - Girls On Film 3. Duran Duran - Hungry Like The Wolf Duran Duran has to be the most underrated (not to mention the most dickheaded) band of all time! |

and ... "Come Undone". |
Off the top of my head and probably not my final pics if I spent more time on it but ....
Vapors - Turning Japanese Berlin - Sex Echo & The Bunnymen - Lips Like Sugar |
There's a ton of 80's songs that I really enjoy, so it's hard coming up with a list. These two have really stuck with me though.
1) Tainted Love / Where Did Our Love Go - Soft Cell 2) 1 Night in Bangkok - Murray Head 3) Too many songs would tie for 3rd place. |
I'm struggling to come up with 3 songs. If I do settle on some, I'm sure they'll be a mix early progressive and those rockin' hair bands. |headbang|
I'm fairly certain I'll be repeating 1 of Preacher's and 1 from Sir Moby. |
wow Preacher, way to bring back the memories lol...Tainted Love was the first 45 I bought (remember those??)
it is very hard to choose, I was into a lot of music back then but I would have to say 1. Drive - The Cars (or anything off Heartbeat City for that matter) 2. J Geils Band - Centerfold & Freeze Frame and near the end there was 3. INXS - Kick, I can't choose one song off that album, I think I wore that one out I loved them all :) wow, I feel really old now thanks |thumb |
At first I thought this was going to be hard. I really don't care much for 80s music. And then, I remembered... :)
I really can't come up with only 1 song for each album. 1) The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking - Roger Waters 2) The Final Cut - Pink Floyd 3) Radio K.A.O.S. - Roger Waters |
