I Just LOVE When The Morning Gets Here...

...because I get to send a great big GOOD MORNING to all of you, my bestest friends in this whole wide world of sports |waves|

|pokefun||greenguy|

Yes, I'm in a goofy mood today! Probably due to a lack of sleep as I'm still having a hard time trying to kick Lunesta (sleeping pill like Ambien) and it's still pretty hard to doze off w/out the TV on, being alone with my thoughts and all |loony| |crazy|

Just work for me today. I think I might try to make a dent in the 57 "important" things that are sitting in my Gmail Inbox waiting for me to show them some love |smooch|

I'll close this morning's morning thread by wishing Skippy a fun filled wonderful day |fonz|

Love you |bananna|

I'm sort of awake... need coffee, lots of coffee.

Got so wrapped up in doing Adobe lessons that I never made it to the gym yesterday so the gym is high on my to do list today. Besides learning my way around Dreamweaver the book is teaching me how to code in html5. It's a lot different than how I've always wrote html code.

Yesterday was way too cold to leave the house but then the heater on our macaw enclosure burnt out so I had to try to find a replacement and all the stores were sold out for the season except for the one that was left at Home Depot.

Good morning world |waves|

Nice to see you're up to your old tricks, Skippy...err I mean Greenie. :D

I love when morning gets here too. I don't really mind sleeping, and sometimes it does feel good to lay down and go to sleep. But mostly it seems like a big waste of time. Seems a shame that, for instance, a 60-year-old has only been alive 40 years if you subtract the useless 20 years of sleep time.

Aside from that it's a lovely day down here, with a forecast high of 71º (F) and a nice breeze that means lots of open windows (nice change from the 50s-60s degrees we've had for a few days).

Wishing a good day to all, with plenty of that fun-filled wonder.

:)

I know not what you speak of |huh Maybe you can ask Skippy to clear it up for me?

Greenguy 2013-03-28 08:43 AM

OH! I searched the Google for "unique ways to say good morning" or something like that & I found this site:
Love SMS Messages
which should now make it obvious where I came up with that horrendous thread title & lead in.

But, the more examples of txts & SMS msgs that you can send out for various scenarios, the more I find myself in tears, laughing so much my jaw hurts |lol|

For example, say that I guy wanted to send his special gal a naughty text message. You might want to give this one a try:
Quote:

A boy walks up to a girl and says..
Hey Girl do you want to play magic..?
Girl askWhat do U mean a magic..?
Boy saysWe will go to my Room, Make Love & than U get disappear...
I'M DYING OVER HERE!!!
|haha |lol| |mOrrI| |bighappy| |tongue| |bigsmile| |valentineflasher|

One day all the browsers will support HTML5/CSS3/Javascript in exactly the same way and finally all will be right with the world!

|lol| Yeah, right, like that's ever gonna happen.

I visit sites like http://html5test.com/ in several different browsers to see if we're getting closer to that day. And there are sites like http://caniuse.com/ where you can see if a feature you'd like to use will work on the various browsers and versions.

Actually, just the fact that there are so many sites online that are designed to help you determine what will and won't work yet with HTML5 is part of what keeps me from jumping on the bandwagon yet.

I will at some point of course, but I may wait for HTML6/CSS4 ... coming soon to a browser near you.

Yeah I would be kind of afraid to actually use a lot of what I'm learning but the book is teaching me Dreamweaver and all the lessons so far have me leaning it by making the "Green Market" website in html5.

I uploaded one of the finished html5 pages here. Virtual directory listing is turned on for this directory if you want to look at the support files.

Cleo - feel free to use this image as an example of "How To Recycle" on your page :D

I think because we no longer have a land line we no longer seem to get these big phone books that go straight into the recycle bin.

Ramster 2013-03-28 10:05 AM

Good morning.

Short day planned today so I get back to Ottawa and pick up my car after having the gas all pumped out.

Don't worry, they are working on a cell phone directory and wait until you see the size of that!

Good evening.

I've been struggling with some WP blogs as of late. The response times in the front and back ends were terrible. Several avenues proved fruitless then I fiddled with the /etc/host and everything is fine!

Hope you had a good day. Time to watch the Leafs! |thumb

Good to see Greenie fooling around with MeatPounder again :)

I keep them around because it's fun to rip them in half with your bare hands, it's much easier than it looks but it always amazes people.
