Pichunter & Torrents

phtorrents.com

What a bunch of cocksuckers...

Cleo 2009-12-08 06:40 AM

What a shame. :(

There was a time that I made a lot of money off of Pichunter's traffic but that came to a screeching halt when they switched over to their new format and now this which is just so fucked up.

hashbury 2009-12-08 09:50 AM

I first saw that on there a week or so ago and thought it was some sponsor driven torrents. I figured 2 to 5 min clips with links to the sponsor or something similar. I downloaded one a few days ago to find out they are full length movies with no links to the sponsors or producers. I just got my pichunter account right after they switched to the white pages but after the torrents thing I dont see any reason to bother submitting.
I dont know if anyone else has been noticing but torrent sites seem to be getting shutdown slowy but surely. The pirate bay and now mini nova. It seems like a bad time to be trying to get into torrents.

LeRoy 2009-12-08 01:17 PM

Has anyone confirmed that it's part of the Krawl network?

Who-is seems to be guarded.

hashbury 2009-12-08 01:55 PM

There is a big picture link to it on pichunter on the lefthand side of the site. It says "check this out ph torrents". Then on the bottom of the image it says "brought to you by pichunter".

Oh damn.

dunc 2009-12-08 04:30 PM

So where do they get these torrents from?

I see Paperstreet Cash, Braincash and PornstarNetwork on there - have they given them permission to use there vids?

bDok 2009-12-08 08:02 PM

hopefully it will be a regulated thing. I cruised around the forum real quick and saw a post on it. At this point it seems on the up n up. I'll be keeping my eyes on it though.

bDok 2009-12-08 08:03 PM

i'm testing download speed and from all the people involved nslookuped the ips. One is on chooooopa. So i'm wondering if possible they are seeding off there? Shows the program as being transmission though which is a mac program. Interesting.

Downloading at 400K-700K
crazy.

bDok 2009-12-08 08:39 PM

actually i see an upload link. should be interesting to see what happens with this.

Let me ask you something ???

what is the difference between....
you wanting sites like torrents shutdown
and the religious right that wants YOUR sites shutdown

One is about stealing and one is about adult sexual morals.

Tommy 2009-12-09 04:27 PM

first of all... no one is sure its stealing
and even if it was
none of ya ever downloaded music from napster or the other green one (I forgot the name)

all of you are using bought and registered versions of photoshop etc
Please.....

this is about money
you guys think sites like that cost you money
and thats the only reason you care

Cleo 2009-12-09 04:32 PM

To each their own but I've bought around 99% of my music and my programs.

Anyway there is a big difference between borrowing a program or a track of music then setting up a file server full of stolen stuff.

That being said I don't know if this site is serving up stolen vids or owns the rights to the vids but I don't see how they are going to make any money either way.

Tommy 2009-12-09 04:42 PM

but do you think Sony Records feels there's a big difference
do you think adobe feels there is a huge difference

I bet adobe doesnt call it borrowing

I just wanna point out that a lot of people in this business are so quick to ..

but then they work with stolen programs, listening to stolen music

The pot shouldnt call the kettle black

Cleo 2009-12-09 04:45 PM

Adobe my not like it if you are running a stolen copy of their program but they aren't going to come after you either. If you setup a wares site they are going to shut you down and see you in court.

Tommy 2009-12-09 04:53 PM

but didnt the music industry see a lot of people in court for borrowing tracks :-)

cd34 2009-12-09 05:00 PM

And the CRIA is being sued for the same Piracy they have accused others of.

Well they have to pay all those lawyers somehow. |huh

Jel 2009-12-10 02:28 AM

For me it's about teaching a tonfuck of new surfers what torrents are, and what software is needed. Still, thepiratebay will be getting a bunch of new bookmarkers/traffic when all those surfers decide to use google to look for torrents instead of pichunters new torrent site.

Evens or less that krawl network gets sold to AFF in 2010 as dating is about the only thing left in adult that you can't give surfers a free fuck with. Hell, I might even make my entire members area non password protected, and try and sell dating...

Tommy 2009-12-10 08:12 AM

if somebody comes up with a good digital rights managment system they are gonna make millions of dollars

The record companies haven't sued anyone for DOWNLOADING songs. Every case and settlement offer was for the DISTRIBUTION of songs.

It wasn't the act of downloading, it was that they had their library set to be SHARED on Kazaa/Limewire/BearShare/etc.

Just saying , nothing wrong with looking out for number one. People assuming I'm a hypocrite doesn't cost me $$$ - No rationalization necessary, I could have just robbed the world bank, I'd still prefer not to be robbed myself.
