Another early morning - 5:15 this time. I'd be ok if I didn't have to piss when I 1st woke up, because the dog sees me & then he has to go & he's hungry & so is the cat........easier to just stay awake.

Sabres play Toronto tonight - my 1st time seeing them live in 26 days - I almost forgot about them seeing as they were mostly on a west coast road trip & the games started after my bedtime :)

I don't know what I'm doing awake this early but I'm guessing it may have something to do with going to bed at 9 last night.

Spent a few hours of yesterday in traffic hell for a fifteen minute doctor's visit then came home and thought it would be a good idea to add an unused Airport to improve the coverage of my WiFi and fucked up my whole network so spent hours getting everything working right again. |banghead|

May or may not go to the gym this morning, it's way too cold out, and then going to spend the day trying to get caught up in work since I didn't get any work done yesterday at all.

I have an insurance inspector coming this morning to inspect my house. I never heard of home owners insurance needing to see the inside but, there it is. :) Besides that..fighting for another nickle. :)

Good shivery, cold day.

It seems that the single winter month my wife recently spent in Florida has convinced her that living here is insane and now she wants to move south, or west, or southwest. But first, I have to become employable. Speaking of becoming employable, I have an appointment at noon with the coordinator of one of the B.S. programs I applied to. Hopefully she'll like me in person as much as she did via email and she'll be able to look past the fact that the final semester grades of my A.A. plummeted my GPA from 3.77 to 3.05. (I was going through a dark patch.) Her program is the one I really want to get into, so my fingers are crossed so tightly that they're turning blue.

I hope not :) I am more worried about my wires in front of my desk. My office has 2 outlets and I have all my pc shit, tv shit, refrigerator, ac and 4 lamps plugged in :) And there is this 20 foot icicle on the corner of my house. :)

Looks like Station Casinos here will be filing for chapter 11 and Wynn is cutting hours/401K contributions and freezing pay. His announcement comes on the same day that Wells Fargo canceled their junket to reward their mortgage brokers for helping them lose 32 Billion dollars last year. Amazing.

Morning all. Been consumed with eBay stuff the last few days, that just sucks you in and eats your brain, lol. Seem to have come down with a cold now that I'm trying to build galleries, always a joy when thinking through sand.

UW, good luck on the becoming employable. Lot of houses for sale in Pahrump right now, you can get great deals, and we have high speed DSL.
Good luck on job finding though, lol. Winter has been great this year, highs in the 60 lately but the living on the sun in the summer sucks.

You know the last time we were in town, we drove past the Palace Station, and I swear it would have been difficult to find a parking space. Makes you wonder if they are really hurting, or jumping on the "this is a good way to save money" bandwagon.

I have a busy day filled with work work and more work plus i get to try out my new DD account this morning.


I finally reached 300 posts 2 years and 1 month later...

In '99, I moved from Maryland to Florida, 1020 miles. Best decision I ever made. Texas, Huntington Beach/Seal Beach CA were also potential locations. I absolutely loved LA/San Diego when I used to commute there from DC. In one month I racked up 28000 frequent flier miles. However, the company I was working for at the time was on Atlantic Time and, a 4 hour difference would have made a rather large impact in the day. If you want to talk about what we went through, or whatever, hit me up.

Working on some code so I can report a bug to the developers that I ran into and other than that, contemplating a project that I have had planned in my head for about 5 years.

My tv viewing was awesome yesterday. Watched 24, Fringe, and Leverage. Fringe for sure has really gotten good imo.
