Woke up wide awake at 3:00 am and decided to get up now. It's probably due to the fact that I got an honest to goodness general anaesthetic yesterday. I was expecting something lighter and it's messed up my internal clock.

My procedure seems to have gone well. My ear cracking has stopped in both years. The surgeon says that a good sign. The ringing is still there though. It will take 2 to 4 weeks to see what direction this goes and that depends on how I heal.

Anyhow, I am now back at it. I've got a crap load of work to do -- professional, personal and volunteer. Guess I should get to it.

Is there a setting on laptops that make the battery discharge faster when you are rushing to get stuff done before a thunderstorm hits? We had several waves of thunderstorms roll through here yesterday, last night, and early this morning. I think we were unplugged for about 12 hours in all. I even plugged into a wall outlet last night for a time, trying to get enough charge to finish the galleries I was working on. Nope. Nada. Sigh.

So, we are in the clear for a while today. Maybe more tonight, but so far, so good. Now, I need to get all this stuff in progress finished and submitted.

At my aunt's now but I get to go home shortly for about 12 hours. Joy |party2

Did I mention that my aunt threw my sister out of the house last week? She was spitting time with me, but she's |crazy|

More family is in town this weekend, not at my house, so we'll be getting together with them but not sure which day or both.

Greenie is going to the FAIR!

More auto project and grunt work on the agenda with a trip out for a special lunch item :D

Not the best day, I took |dog to the vet and she has most likely got uterine inflammation. I'm praying for the antibiotics to work, I seriously can't afford an operation. |sad|
She's as full of energy as always though, so I'll try to be optimistic.

Other than that, catching up and catching up.
On a positive note, Motorpsycho released yet another fantastic album today. It's on loop |headbang|
