Strangest morning ever!

Two points to note before reading this:

1. I am in England, so although for most of you it is now late at night, for me it is already tomorrow morning.

2. Last night I tried an imported Scandi-Wegan meal. Herrings in a yogurt sauce. When I opened it was basically a big tub of yogurt, flavoured with herbs and containing two herrings. So basically, for my evening meal last night I had fish yogurt! That may have been what caused the following:

Yesterday morning I had needed to get up ridiculously early, and by mistake last night I only re-set my radio alarm, I forgot to reset the alarm on my 'phone. So I was awoken in what I would still describe as "the middle of the night". I spent about an hour hitting "snooze", getting a few more minutes sleep, then being re-awakened. Eventually I decided this was ridiculous and got up.

Reaching for the 'phone to switch it off I discovered that the damn thing was re-booting, and I had to input a lot of data (what games I wanted loading etc). It was more complicated than I expected, so I asked a friend who was staying with me for help.

At that point the alarm went off and I woke up "again" to discover that all I have just mentioned was a dream, I had dreamt that I had woken up. However when I reached for the 'phone to switch it off I discovered it was indeed re-booting, and was on the same screen that I remembered from my dream. The only thing I could think of was that I woken up, started to work on the 'phone, then fallen asleep again. I went to ask my guest if I had actually gone and asked him for help, or if that was part of the dream. I found my friend washing his underwear in the toilet bowl and I accidentally urinated on it.

Then the alarm went off and I woke up yet again. I don't even have a house guest!

At last awake, I went to make coffee, and saw one of my kitchen appliances beginning to burn out, so I switched it off at the mains. As soon as I did this a second one burnt out. Switching that off caused a table lamp to burn out. Reaching for that I knocked everything over and they badly burnt a desk I particularly like (my father made it for me when I was a teenager, and I have been carrying it round with me every time I move). When I saw the damage I began to wish that this reality had been the dream.

Ever had a wish come true? I have now. The alarm went off and I "woke up" for the third time, the desk was fine, that too had been a dream. But by now I was mightily confused and deeply suspicious of reality.

I have now been up for over two hours. I have washed, dressed, had breakfast, taken the bins out, put some washing in the machine, and am on my third cup of coffee. But I am still afraid to open the curtains in case a werewolf jumps out and gets me!

So you are saying that you had a dream or two last night... who the hell would eat yogurt with a dead fish in it?

Anymore details of your friend? :D

It was down in the forties here last night and all three of our cats spent the night walking all over us and trying to sleep on our heads.

Another day of fishing for porn buyers planned for today along with hitting the gym once it warms up a bit. Plus doing more Adobe lessons. I'm up to chapter eight in the Dreamweaver one.

Good Hump Day (Wucka Wucka) |haha

I had a hunk of tooth on my top right fall out while eating a couple months back that started to really hurt over the weekend. At the same time, another tooth on the bottom right started to hurt a lot. too! So, off to the dentist for a couple hours in the chair |pokefun||greenguy|

After that, it's just work for me, but I think I'm going to try & find myself some fish yogurt & experiment with alternate realities this weekend |fonz|

Morning. Up early helping a client that is in new york. I'll be scheduling a trip out there soon as they have a bunch of little things to handle around the office.

Other than that I'm going to play around with the free version of sugar crm. Just need to get it installed and configured now. That should take a good chunk of the rest of the morning. After that I'll be coding a bunch. Good times.

So my lady and I are watching this show "the following." It's pretty good. Just lately I'm starting to get a little frustrated with the lack of planning on how they are going about trying to find out where this following is located. Some really simple things would have worked. Keep having to remind myself to go along for the ride.

Have a good one. Time to get some coffee. |coffee

Good morning.

I had some great news when I woke up this morning! Friday night on my way home from Montreal I stopped 5 minutes from my house to gas up the car, it was almost empty. I filled it up, drove home and parked it int he garage. Saturday morning I try to start it and it barely starts, idles all wrong and stalls, it just simply will not run. First thing is the check oil light is on and I check the oil and it is very low so that worries me. I'm freaking out and thinking great I'm fucked. I left my car in the garage since and came to Montreal with the wife (some weeks we take 1 car and some we take them both)

Turns out the fucking gas station delivery company filled their in-ground regular gas tanks with diesel!!!!! HELLO... stupid! Good news it's a cheap repair ($200-300) and they're going to pay for it.

Would this go well with your dead fish in yogurt meal?

I haven't found this to be true. The only monsters that exist are the ones in our mind. Just like he says in the book, when you confront them they always turn from beasts to benign.

Trying so desperately to lucid dreams gives me a MUCH greater appreciation for being alive and awake. We are here, it's effortless and we have total control. Just take it!
