Page editor?
Guys, help me out if you could here please.
I still have a dozen or so small pages online that send traffic here and there, but are in dire need of updating. Simple stuff like removing and adding new banners and links. Old school stuff. But I'm at a loss as to what page editor I should be using these days. The days of Frontpage are gone with the ice age lol. And I don't need a copy of Dreamweaver for this stuff, not like I learned to properly use that monster anyway. So what is an easy html editor I could use to make page changes? Free and wysiwyg is a bonus. Thank you in advance! |
For wysiwg I have no idea. For me, I use notepad lol. It requires some html knowledge but honestly, if you're just removing banners and links, that is super simple to do in notepad.

I use CoffeeCup. They have both a paid and free version - https://www.coffeecup.com/free-editor/. I keep the most common bits of code I use (like banner stuff) in the Snippets which makes it quick and easy. Otherwise, like Ramster said, Notepad works.

Thank you all.
I have heard of CoffeeCup, but not Blue Griffon. I'll have to take a look at both of them. Notepad, yes I can manage but only when it's small stuff. |
You might want to check out the free open source TinyMCE

Thank you
