David - let me ask, do you think that if you worked 40 hours a week at this that you'd have made 300+ sales in a month?

No idea man, i have a full time job so it's hard for me to work that much. I doubt it though, i think there may be some diminishing returns?

Greenguy 2011-09-05 07:53 PM

Honestly, I have no idea - just crossed my mind when you posted that you only worked 7 hours - that's 1.5 signups per hour - I personally haven't seen numbers like that since 2005 :D

What's your "real" job if I may ask? (just being nosey)

It would be nice to work 40 hours and get 1.5 signups per hour but i really doubt it, i guess it's possible as due to my limited time i try to work smarter, not harder. However i do like my "real" job and have started in this just for some additional income so i don't think i'd ever scale to it being a full time thing, however i am trying to put in some more work, maybe 20-30 hours a month and i might look at using some VAs in the future do get more done.

My "real" job - I'm a film editor, mostly editing high end TV commercials, plus some film/tv.

Mostly TGP galleries and some from blogs.

GigglesWorld 2011-09-06 10:08 AM

Not bad for 7 hours. That said, I don't know if online business scales as well with time put in as other work does. I think there's an upper limit to growth that has more to do with creativity and approach than total amount of work time.

Still rockin it!!!

That's motivating :)

HowlingWulf's stats show how different each of our's traffic is. He is doing great with stuff that I can't sell no matter how hard I try and he isn't doing great with stuff that sells well for me.

I looked at some of the programs on his list and tried em out.

Howling Wulf has the secret sauce :)

So HowlingWulf, do you have a good many paid submitter accounts or have you dropped many of them?

Also a question for David, do your Micro-Niche blogs mainly rely on search traffic?

Yeah, roughly 80% search, 15% direct/bookmark, 5% referring sites.

I've dropped all except worldsex/al4a, shemp, and tommys

Jeremy82 2011-09-07 07:09 PM

Very interesting. In the case of PmpRoll (and another "big" sponsors) it depends on the specific site. I have a very similar ratio in PmpRoll, except site African Fuck Tour, which is actually my best converter!

Hi HowlingWulf, may I ask you, how many % of your income come from these paid accounts (approximately)?

HowlingWulf 2011-09-10 10:23 AM

I usually send the traffic into my network and not directly to the sponsor site, so the only thing I can track is the numbers. Here's the last one I did (a little old)

Congrats! The path to riches starts with the first sale earned.
Which sponsors, and what is your site?
