Sunday December 9th - It wss a dark and gloomy day
 

Yep. Cold, dark, gloomy, rainy. All of the snow we had a couple of days ago is gone, replaced by cold, wet, rainy weather. No sunlight or even decent light out. It's just blah. Maybe I will skip doing anything of value today and just go pull the covers over my head for a few days. We *might* see some sunshine a week from now, but that is dubious. Meanwhile, the days grow shorter - very short. The days are now under 6 hours long, with less than 8 hours of visible light. Shiver....

We are going to the in-laws for Christmas, so no decor here. No lights, no nada. Gloomy...

Been a slow day, mostly Battlefield V and Secret World.
Skipped Guitar-practice today, thought I deserved a day off.

Now soon, bed. Last walk with |dog first

December is just a cluster fuck of holidays and birthdays and I want to hit the fast forward button till January!

Gotta do some reviews and such, eat dinner and pass out.

There is something cheerful about lights on cold, dark days and nights. Something almost magic. Add snow, and it is even sweeter. Right now, it is just cold, dark, rainy, and gloomy. Nearly 3pm and it is twilight already. The window in front of my desk looks out on two row houses (rivitalo .. no real word for these in English. It's a row of small single story apartment-type housing all connected. They each have a tiny parcel of yard to go with.) Neither one of these has any lights or even much activity. So, my daily view.. dark, gloomy.. wet. Not much to cheer about.
