Russell (Mr Hakula) has left the building

I spoke to my old "linkmasters" friend Russell some weeks ago and it was obvious that something was up.

This is the extent of it

looks like he found God or he's getting ready to fleece the Christians

DangerDave 2007-04-21 05:20 PM

Jesus! (and I mean that in a blaspheming, shock kind of way!)

Russell, goes way back to the very early days, and him finding good is a big shock..... |shocking|

Linkmasters? that's going back a bit. :D
Good luck to Mr & Mrs Hackula I think it's nice that they've found God.

But I am a Spiritualist (non-christian) and I believe that God intended us to desire the human form, in order to ensure procreation. And what I do for a living is not wrong in God's eyes.

Suppression of lust and sexuality is unnatural. :)

Jim 2007-04-22 08:10 AM

That is sad. I often wish that I could be fooled into believing in some structured religion. But, I guess it will never happen :)

There is a comedian in Australia who has said (and I'm paraphrasing) that he has no problem with religion, or with those who are religious. He has no issues whether you're christian, muslim, buddhist or whatever. But he does wish people would stop fighting, and starting wars, in an attempt to prove that 'my imaginary friend is better than your imaginary friend'.

:)

Exactly :)

Seriously... I am proud that my religion currently has a zero death toll count. :D

Now this shit really makes me Sick...
Is it legal? it looks like a fucking cult!

oldbrad 2007-04-22 02:02 PM

Yes, christianity is legal. Actually, the show, is where they travel trying to convince people that god loves them type of stuff.

Kirk Cameron had a similar "conversion" and just stopped doing anything that seemed a little bad. He also started trying to convert anyone he ever met lol.

God = Money...
Think about that one guy who 'heals' people at huge shows in america (forgot his name). He's got his own fucking jet!

Christianity makes me sad and sick... It's brainwashing innocent kids, I just saw a TV show how they try to convert people in America - Wrestling shows that promote jezus, motor clubs that are promoting jezus, Radio shows, schools that ignore Darwin - It's insane!

But if u wanna quit the adult market you can always donate your websites and traffic to me, I'd be happy to set you free from your sins!

Remember: sex is bad, which makes promoting porn evil too!

(i'm gonna shut the fuck up now) I've probaly already offended 100s of people by saying my opinion.

urb 2007-04-22 03:09 PM

People tend to only notice extremes.

There are extreme Christian organisations and there are extreme Muslim organisations.

Millions and millions of people have suffered and died because of extreme religious views. Christianity is probably one of the worst offenders.

I am serious, when I say that I believe in God... but I think that most religions were devised by mankind to control and manipulate others.

The believer is happy, the doubter is wise. - Irish Proverb. |crazy|

urb 2007-04-22 03:35 PM

Irish Proverb? :D
I've been to Belfast in Northern Ireland and have witnessed the distrust between the Catholic and Protestant communities. It's quite amazing that they both actually believe in Christ and share the same Bible.

It's all words.... no substance behind any of it. Maybe some of them just enjoy hating each other?

I believe because of what I have witnessed, for which the only explaination I could find was the continued existance of the human soul after death.

ronnie 2007-04-23 02:48 AM

Like Busty Amateurs all over again. Course this change is not losing me money.

spazlabz 2007-04-23 11:22 AM

I got born again at 18 with a very good friend of mine... we both went into the US Marine on the buddy program and after boot lost touch. I reconnected with him a few years ago (a dozen or so years after we lost touch) he is a very right wing republican except... he is a true christian. when he found out what I did for a living his response was 'Love the sinner but hate the sin' and he meant it, acted towards me like I was his brother and didnt judge.

If ALL Christians understood what it meant to be a real one we would not have the issues we have today.

BTW..... any Christian was says they believe in the 10 commandments has absolutely no undestanding of the faith..... in short their idiots

Jim 2007-04-23 11:41 AM

I kind of have a religious theory that I am thinking of calling Scientomology :) It has aliens, prisons, mind control and one terrible mixup about 2007 years ago. :)

Cleo 2007-04-23 11:46 AM

Our money says "In God We Trust" so I know that god comes in various denominations.

Nothing wrong with being happy. If faith is what gets one through their days, trials & tribulations, let them be. It's nobody else's business.
