Monday June 26th (aka Fuck The Monday)

Morning! |waves|

Up early because I got into a bad funk when we returned home after the Open House to find out we only had 1 couple come & look at the house :( The good news I guess is that the realtor said that couple stayed here a long time, but the bad news is that I think we have the house priced too high. We're going to look at 2 more house today, so I'll be able to talk to our realtor more then, but it looks like we're going to have to drop the price :(

MY back is also fucked because during the open house, we went to my step-daughter's to move all her furniture & rip up her rug as she's having The Bitch's non-Yell brother install Pergo flooring next week.

Kinda glad I'm up early as I'm busy running around today. Aside from looking at the 2 house, I have to pick up the ASSIL, go to the bank, vape store, post office, and UPS. 1st stop is at noon, so maybe I can sneak a nap in between now & then :)

I would still think people would put in an offer, even it if was low. We did that with the first house we wanted. The owner did not accept our offer, but then his house is still on the market. What are comparable houses going for? If you were shopping for a house like yours, do you feel the price is too high? From the pictures I have seen, the pricing looks to be pretty fair. High, maybe. But you always have room to negotiate.

We slept in today. We have been so stressed over the house lately (and his parents pulling tricks last week) that we have not been sleeping. It was a solid 8 hours for me - a rarity. Tomorrow, we have to be up early - paper signing at our bank, then we go to our new home town to sign the final documents and meet with the owner. I know we are going back over to the new house afterwards. Really looking forward to tomorrow.

Today is a hard work day. Lots of galleries to approve, lots to create. So, I had best get my fingers in gear and get to work!!

We're shopping for house about 1/3rd the price we're selling this one for. As for comparable houses that are on the market, I honestly think we're right where we want to be, but I'll know more when we talk to the agent today.

Good Morning :)

Decent weekend here as I was able to shake my funk even after doing bills.

Tonight, we're going to see QUEEN at the Hollywood Bowl. We saw them years ago with Paul Rogers (Bad Company) fronting and it was okay at best. This time Adam Lambert (American Idol) is fronting and I expect it to be FabUlous |headbang|

Greenie, selling a house is a pain sometimes and I think it may take time to move yours. This is because of the price range in the area. Ask your realtor how long houses in your price range sit on average and tell them not to BS you. See my mother is in the same situation with price/area they are in. They know it could take 6+ months to get it sold for close to what it's worth.

Anyhoo, need to run a bunch of errands plus contact lawyer and contractor.

Enjoy your day!
