I like working late at night. The wife is asleep, the world is peaceful, and I can work really well.

Tonight I've been studying wordpress more, trying variations on theme editing and conditional template tags - some of which happen to be kicking my butt, but I'll figure out the syntax eventually.

Because I've been getting work done around the house, I have to get up earlier than I used to, so the most productive hours of the night are gone for me these days. I'll be glad when this work is done.

Up here at 3:15 CST, but no longer working...Just waiting for my brain to shut down! |yawn|

I was planning on grabbing a copy of Wordpress this week. Sounds like it might be more work than I thought. Maybe I'll check it out some later today, if I get a chance.

It's weird, I alwasy find I'm more creative at night. My mind seems a little sharper, my thoughts a little clearer and I just seem to get more done.

Speaking of getting things done, that's what I should be doing now. :D

Actually, wordpress is a breeze to install, and the few plugins that I'm using so far were also a breeze.

But, I'm trying to customize the theme I'm using, which I downloaded and installed from a famous themes website, and going in and modifying this one particular template tag is giving me trouble. Not huge trouble, but once I accidentally overwrote a sidebar template and threw away a bunch of work I'd already done. A basic mistake, I thought I had one script in my clipboard when I actually had another.

A totally agree, late at night my creativity and mental state is the best. I think it's because I know everyone else is asleep, so my atention gets focused inward, without concern for all the wackiness of other humans.

I never work late. :)

I'm never up at 2am. :)

We all know how you tech guys need to get your beauty rest... :D

Thanks for the clarification, I downloaded wordpress but haven't got to it yet and probably won't today, though it could happen later tonight.

I'm going to take the beginning of the evening off and watch the Home Run Derby on Fox. I'm just to big of a baseball fan to miss it...:)

Ops, that was ESPN no FOX...:)

I normally start at midnight updating my traffic pumps after those 3 hours then I go into submit mode for an hour. I take occasional breaks but I keep plugging away until 6 am when I have usually finished all the above. Created new galleries and rechecked my traffic pumps.

Then I wait for my second wind, usually around 10am and go into another round of creating new traffic pumps and refurbishing some of the older ones.

After that I attend to my other offline businesses for a few hours.

My day normally ends about 8pm.

Shit IM up every night this time. my sleeping habits went from waking up at 5am to going to bed that time. I now wake up around noon. Whole life is just thrown off the mark. But I like it this way. the wife stays up late for shows and I really do not like sleeping with out her. :)

I wonder if Surfn is up and has any donuts....
