An Update For Those Who Care

Yup, been scarce. Don't feel really welcome here, but hey, a few of the people I know are here and I figure you all would get a kick out of things.

First off, no, I am not "out of the biz". Been busy on other projects, but still working it and still getting paid for it, which is what it's all about. Keeping things running and looking for the next big thing, it's all there as always.

Now the real news: On May 24th, 2012, I was married in Hong Kong. Yup, after more than 15 years as a single guy, I was finally married. My wife and son are a constant source of joy in my day, and what better way to make it official than to go to a beach and get married? Reception was held at the Venetian Macau outdoors under the stars, all good and enjoyable.

Which brings the next part: I am moving to Hong Kong, effective almost immediately. my new condo (62nd floor, full water view) is already waiting, just clearing up a few things and then hitting the plane back. As a result, the next few weeks might be a little hit or miss. Sorry to anyone trying to reach me, I am not at all consistent right now.

Finally, the implications are that my hours may be reversed to many people here. Hong Kong is 12 hours off from eastern time, so I may not be around at times you would like to get ahold of me at. Leaving messages on ICQ or email has a much better hope of getting ahold of me than waiting online hoping I will log in.

Yes, all the link sites, all the blogs, and all the related flotsam will remain, major upgrades are underway for almost every property I own. The lack of time has kept me from implementing all of it, but over the summer it should all get done, heading towards a very productive and interesting fall period.

I thank all of those who have supported me and my sites over the years, and I look forward to this move being very productive and interesting. I am inspired with many new ideas and concepts, and I hope that even 1% of them turn out as I see, it will be amazing. Thank you.

I've been building and submitting less, these days, and having to focus more on other things that make beter money. I still sub to your sites pretty regular.

Congrats on the wedding, good luck with the move.

Now for the bad news: Most of the online world lives on US time. I'm only 8 hours off PST, and I find that I either have to go to bed very late or get up ridiculously early (or sometimes both). If you are going to be 12 hours off kilter with the USA, be prepared to become part nocturnal.

Congratulations Alex.

Congrats on the wedding RawAlex and good luck with the move to your new condo/city/country/continent.

Congrats on the wedding Alex.

Living in Maccau must be very nice. I've heard a lot of good things |thumb

There's a show there also. One of these years I'll make it out there.

Congrats. Really been missing in action on the board. Do you speak the language? Or enough to get by? Exciting change. Is rent alright on the 62nd floor? Sounds pretty badass. Post a pic of the view. Sounds cool.

Congrats to you! Many exciting things coming your way!

Now that's why I am not married - Women are evil, don't ever let them into your home!

Neither, I've just had some bad experiences with you "Daughters Of Satan".

Incidentally "you are just fucked" is probably the most unlikely outcome for someone whose philosophy is "Women are evil, don't ever let them into your home". :)

Had to wait for internet to be installed. Using 3G on the cell phone isn't really functional (even if it is remarkably cheap!).

Anyway, I am in Hong Kong now fulltime. Anyone looking for me, ICQ is up and running again, and email works like normal.

Thanks for all the congrats, everyone have a great summer and make some sales.
