My wife's car sounds like it needs a new muffler so I'll be taking it in today. My exercise will be the 40 minute walk back to my house. No |sars| public transit for me.

The only other highlight in my day is dinner with my daughter. She asked us to go out yesterday. It will be on a patio which should work because it will be 15C outside. You can't currently dine inside in Toronto. The real question is how will my daughter behave. You'll get that answer ... tomorrow.

I'm on Cloud 9 this morning due to some unexpected news I recv'd over night |banana|

Yesterday involved me moving 52 more movies scenes around on the server, getting them set up on our master spreadsheet & then imported into our CMS. None of them have processed yet, as they are in line behind the 8 movies scenes left over from the 35 scenes I got ready for another site the day before. I feel bad for the poor hamster we have working at Mojo: The little guy is gonna be tuckered out when this all ends in about a week :D

I also got a scene at 4PM for one of the sites that had to be processed & ready by Midnight. I made it with a couple hours to spare, but I always get panicky when we cut things that close. If you're bored, you can read what I shared with our members just to be on the safe side here.
Plus legit incoming links never hurt anyone 😉

Today is going to be a Greenguy Day, in so far as I'm going to work on stockpiling crap for LOR & Chubby Links so I can keep those suckers on autopilot for another week or so.

Been translating most of the day. Will spend the weekend at my GF's place.
Her middle daughter is very sick and she will also be there. She and my |dog are best friends, so it will be a nice weekend. (My |dog is BFF with absolutely everyone, btw. I wish this social thing would be as easy for me, which it's not |lol||lol||lol| )

Was up at 5:30 and been working since. I am about t head to the cottage and BBQ some food and enjoy it for a couple of hours before clearing things out as it's likely the last enjoyment for the year.

Its all about maintaining the status quo. Remember that 70s band?

I am even more amazed that this twit is even thinking about asking elected party members to disregard the popular vote and put forward their own slate of electors. I have never ever seen anyone dare to meddle with an election to this degree and get away with it. He has handed the Democrats (and hopefully other parties) a gold platter for the mid-term elections. Don't like the way the people voted? Don't worry about it, we can just lean on our loyal Senators and Legislators to "change" the outcome. I am so so so grateful each day that I escaped the madness.

I was a teen, in Canada, in the 70s but I never heard of them. I guess in the pre-Internet days it was mostly whatever the radio stations fed us. Whenever I listen to a feed of oldies music on the Internet, I find it interesting when there is a group I've never, ever heard of. The program director was king back then. I'll have to check them out.

I think they were a part of the Dr. FeelGood set as well. It was a bit before my time but they seem to have been a prelude, in some way, to the whole punk thing. Like MC5 but different.
