Morning! |waves|

Had a strange day yesterday where I got a lot done, but really didn't, if that makes sense? Like I spent a good 2 hours drawing up the bedroom & kitchen of the new house from memory so we could go there today & get measurements. Here's the kitchen:

I knew we were going to have to remodel our bedroom, but yes, The Bitch is getting a new kitchen, too |banghead|

I only got 1 more episode in yesterday & while I'm still on the side of the cult, there's been a couple of hints that will change soon...

Happy Sunday :)

Ended up fucking off most of yesterday with errands then having a few beers. Work for me today, all day is the plan. Lots to do! Have a good one |thumb

I spent most of yesterday downloading content and making galleries, while watching the alma mater play a baseball double header (20-1, ranked #1 in all polls). |thumb

More galleries to make today, and an NCAAW basketball game to watch while doing so. Alma mater is playing there too. |thumb

Finished Wild Wild Country & yes, she did break the law by doing some fucked up shit, but I gotta say, they did everything 100% legal by the books until their hotel was bombed. Once that happened, it was kinda like the gloves were off & that's when they armed themselves. I also don't think he had a fucking clue what was going on since he stopped speaking publicly for 4 years & the only one he spoke to in private was her. The word "cult" kinda has a negative connotation - personally, I see all religions as a cult. But this one feels different. I honestly think they started out with great intentions of creating a utopian society, but when you say it's a cult & throw in the open sexual freedom stuff, outsiders are gonna look & say |crazy| especially when it's a city with a total population of 40 mostly old set-in-their-ways Christians. Even the head DA said they did nothing wrong until after the bombing of their hotel. But, as a society, different = bad :(

Really good docuseries & I do recommend it |thumb|thumb

Evening

Jet lag is so much fun.
I bought a SSD and I'm installing OS on this, so I can get a faster machine.
I already notices the difference

Tomorrow 'holiday' is over.

Well... the hotel in Portland was bombed by a member of a Pakistani anti-Hindu group, not at all related to the people in Wasco County, which was half way across the state from the hotel. The bomber himself was one of only two people injured in the blast.

They didn't mention that - it sounded like it was still unsolved when all this ended in the mid 80's.

I'll admit the doc was probably slanted towards a favorable overall look at the cult.
