TGP Advice

Ahh, I've been doing freesites, for sometime, and I just did freesites for the sake of learning them and not getting caught up in too much information.

When I step into TGP what sort of advice would you give me? Especially coming from doing freesites to TGP.

From my own experience, start small so you do not outlay much $ and learn the technique of selling to tgp surfers then from there gradually add PA's and then Paid PA's.
Also make sure you enjoy doing it as for me a big issue became how i felt about building for TGP galleries, I don't like the short-term nature of them and ended up hating doing it which meant my work got sloppy.

Thanks for the reply. What are PA's? Is that page ads?

Partner Accounts.

Most of the large TGPs have their webmasters buy what is called a submit pass. This allows them to submit galleries to their site and usually they will get listed. Theres other sites that will charge you a one-time application fee for a partner account. TGPs are very much a pay to play business these days.

I've been making TGP galleries since I started about 8 years ago part time. Most of my traffic/money comes from these galleries. As someone pointed out, it's all about partner accounts these days.

I would advice you to keep building free sites so you will have some money to invest in TGP PAs(partner accounts) and of course not a small issue-bandwith bill. Start small as the guys adviced already, before you get PAs you need to make sure you can pay the bandwith, the monthly PA, pay yourself and make some money! Better learn it all with free sites first and then do both :)
good tip is in TGPs you can use more aggressive sales text( less rules for blind links, but still some). Make sure you read what TGP owners tell you in rules.
Good Luck

I started in the biz about 10 years ago with an offshoot of an actual storefront business to sell DVD's, adult toys and lingerie online. When that didn't pan out I stuck with promoting XXX. My main resource was TGP traffic and I retained between 65 and 90 monthly members on about 3 sites (each). I didnt get rich by any means but it paid the bills and allowed me to work at it full time rather than hide it as a hobby.

Besides the bigger TGP sites charging for PA's now, you will need to have a fairly inexpensive host with a substantial hosting package, as your bandwidth will hit all time highs. Just submitting to the hun can or in my case did reach 20 gigs for the month, getting between 3-4 galleris listed monthly.

If you are making good money with FS's than stick with it and by all means if you can find a reasonable hosting package, unique content, then work the TGP sites. Aside from what some people think all TGP traffic is not shit, there are some sales there especially if you have unique approach and content.

Best of luck.

paid PAs are a pretty tough game IMHO. Many don't give you return on investments. So you have to be careful.
