Got up before sunrise to get out on the ocean and do a little snorkeling although, while getting in the ocean, we never actually made it out to the reef.

Not sure what I'm doing today since today's plans had been to spend the day in the ocean and that didn't work out.

Did a little trailer yesterday for the AVS site that I have.

Morning. Went to bed with a headache and got up with one. Blah. Result of me being in the sun most of the day yesterday and then coming home and drinking loads of margaritas and not having enough water. Oh well. It was fun. Watched the movie "Fair Game." It was decent. After that I watched "Day Breakers." Which I actually liked the twist on this. The story had to move through the arc in about 2 hours, however it would have been cool to see this world stretched further.

Just more relaxing on tap. A trip to costco is what is really on the to do list. Other than that it will be some form of getting out and enjoying the weather. Oh and some basketball playoffs.

Planted the red cabbage plants that I sowed a while back in my vetgetable garden.
Also went to wave off the parents in-law. They're heading to Manhattan for 1.5 weeks to visit my brother in law who lives there.
Other than that I did nothing today.

Really nice trailer Cleo!

Today is much cooler then the hot temps of yesterday, typical SoCal weather in April. FatherInLaw left early this morning so I am watching the Long Beach Indy Car races while doing some work. The office I will be going back to this week actually looks over turn 8 on the track.

We got frustrated that this morning’s tube snorkel didn't go well so we went out again and this time we made it to the reef (parked in the right place this time) and spotted turtles, manta rays and lots of other interesting creatures. It's nice that Vista Reef can be accessed from the beach and is only a couple of miles from our home.

One thing I miss about Hawaii is snorkeling. I used to go really often. I've seen turtles, but never saw a manta before, the video I saw you posted up of seeing the one was so cool.

I've been slacking off most of the weekend, but thought I might as well get a jump on Monday's work, so here I am :)

I would love to snorkel in Hawaii, just wish it wasn't such an incredible long plane flight from Florida.

I really want to start diving again. It's on my to do list when money gets better again since it isn't a cheap sport.
