Ideas for semi-adult affiliate program?

Okay, so this is a fairly open-ended question I have here. And since asking the opinions of you folks is a lot easier than thinking creatively myself, here I am.

Can you suggest ideas for a possible affiliate program that would not be strictly adult, but could still utilize the power of adult webmasters? About as far adult as I can go are dating sites; there are a lot of these though, but hell there are a lot of tgps and link lists too.

My reasons for "considering" something like this will all become apparent to my friends in the next few months.

For now I just need a few ideas. Maybe something might get my juices flowing and I'll be off on some creative tsunami . . . probably not, but who knows?? :)

oh, or non-adult, I mean as well

Something non-adult is actually prefered. The requirement is just that I can offer adult webmasters the ability to promote it on their sites.

oh yeah...and if you have anything ready-made and for sale, you can always let me know ( webmaster *AT* fuk18 *DOT* com ) I don't know, it could be a dating site, auction site, whatever. Just email me though, so as not to turn Greenie and Jims board into a spam fest :)

I'm thinking online casinos.

Anyone know best place to get one built? Or a good turnkey solution?

There are lots of directions you could take that can effectively utilise adult traffic for mainstream products.

A few might be:
casinos
Pharmacy
Penis enlargement
lingerie
mens underwear
spam arrest procucts
privacy products
fittness products
... and the list goes on!

There are a lot of non adult sponsors about, although commissions are often a lot less than adult. There are also adult sponsors that already offer mainstream products like these and others.

That's a nice list, thanks Kezza :) Yeah mainstream sponsors (certainly those in the uk anyway) pay totally jack compared to adult. I run a couple non adult sites and I signed up with a few programs -- I remember almost passing out when I saw the rates (ooo 4% recurring!!!).

I have in mind something that pays out like adult, but with non-porn content. So far gambling looks nice. Problem with that is I might have to work through a 3rd party for their gambling licence (due to my moving plans) or wait until I get done movin. Even then I still might do 3rd party becauuse such licences would take a chunk of my setup capital (I've seen some goign for around 50K).

Anyway! Nice one I'm gonna look at the others on your list. Thanks, mate :)

I wouldn't go into online casinos if I was you.
I have promoted them heavily in the past and never made any real $$$.
I know millions of dollars are being spent on online gambling, but I never got a piece of that cake |sad|
Unless you're planning on setting up your own casino, I wouldn't go with the affiliate programs out there..
Just my 2 cents

Casinos have worked well for us... recently changes in what is accepted at SE's has made a difference... But I still think its worh looking at. It is always good to diversify!

This is a possibility. That or a turnkey solution. I'm just in the brainstorming phase though. But, although I wish you'd done better, it's good to hear what you think. Maybe there's a way to make a more profitable gambling program?
