What is a counter program worth?

We're considering selling our www.tgp2stats.com program.

We're not doing a lot with it, but it could be of great use to anybody who has an idea like that and is considering buying a program like it. It has 100s of programming hours in it, great features and a few hundred members (too bad our previous host lost most of the clients database).

Any idea what would be a fair offer? Too bad the golden days are over, a little program like ours would have made us a ton 5 years ago :))

I am not sure I understand what value a counter site has, can you explain it to me (& others). I guess you can get some ad revenue from those checking stats? anything else?

cheers!

Luke

That is 1, you can also pull clicks from the countergraphic and have the surfer go to page of your choice. Just click a counter here and there and you'll what happens.

Keep your fingers on alt f4 though, some programs a ruthless.

oh of course, clicks from surfers....never even dawned on me (I use server based stats).

good luck with it, I think I would be out of my depth taking on this sort of project.

Cheers!

Luke
