LL Owners: How do you overcome creative blocks?
 

Hi everyone!

Lately, I have been spending quite a bit of time admiring my fellow webmasters work. I've tried to keep up with all the new changes that are taking place (2257 threads, getting listed tips, launches of sites/programs, affiliates, etc.) reading and learning as much as I can in order to stay in the know.

My question is this:

How do you overcome creative/mental blocks, and what can you reccomend to us newbies to combat this?

Link List owners rarely need to be creative once the site is built - my category pages look like they did back in 98 - LOL

Or are you asking how Free Site builders overcome creative blocks?

Essentially, yes.

The question pretty much applies to everyone, I guess now that I come to think of it.

I've had 3 major breakdowns in the last 8 years of doing this & each time, I take at least 3 days off from the computer - don't even check mail - and most times I come back refreshed & ready to go :)

Yes a few days of RR does wonders for the mind :)

First time in 3 years i took 6 weeks of not funny well the holiday was because i finally spent some good time with my kids and hubby, but i was toatlly lost after 6 weeks, didnt remember any shit anymore how to work and all, hubbies answer on this: see the holiday did good you forgot all, me not funny i feel like newbie now, and i still am, i have to get my touch back, i never expect i am so hooked on the 15+ hours a day, if i am blocked i clean my house, i leave the puter and start doing other things, and then my brains start to work............go away from puter and it will help you to think clearly

Excellent advice...I just spent the better part of the evening with a girlfriend of mine... caught up on much needed conversation, direction of the relationship, blah blah blah...

Funny thing, i feel refreshed wrt to free site building now...the relationship seems to be fizzing out now...|jester|

What creative block? I get TB from cheaters but never have difficulty coming up with something new and/or different. :D
