Linking to sponsors

I'm looking for opinions on which way would be the best for linking to sponsors instead of directly linking to them...eg. I've started using a html page which redirects instantly to the sponsor site of my choice for the niche I'm promoting. If the conversions are crap then I can simply change that single page to redirect to another sponsor site. Is there a better way to handle this? Php code or something?

I am kinda worried if maybe some reviewers might see this as impending cheating tho, even if the only thing changed was the page it was linking too and not the gallery.

Your question isn't very clear to me, anyways.

Clearly, you can't actually redirect surfers on a free site.

You can't have blind links.

I presume you know this well- so maybe you are asking the question the wrong way?

I'm not talking about redirecting the surfer that come to my pages but those that click links to my sponsors (which aren't blind links)

Let me draw you a map :)

Surfer comes to one of my freesites -> they click a sponsor link -> this takes them to a html page which is set to immediately take them to the sponosr. If this sponsor performs poorly or the program goes belly up I change the site they get taken to.

I just want to know is there a better way of this type of "sponsor link management" using php or something.

If you look in my sig, you'll see how I do it.

If you wanna use this technique why redirecting ? You may better use a FPA and then your ratio may improve. If the sponsor does not convert well, youjust change the FPA.
Just my opinion,

I doubt it works.. I just can't imagine it... you tease your surfer to join site#1 and if it converts badly you just redirect this ad to site#2? Probably you could use only text like "join no.1 site" an no banners than. When I try to sell any site I praise it and show all advantages. But I guess is impossible to find another site with same features - I guess it won't convert better than primary ad if you just change the url where you send visitor and leave the old text/banner - they are not idiots and will notice that quickly (more... if you use sponsor#1 banners and than redirect them to sponsor#2 site probably both will quit your accounts)

Im with Mateusz on that one.

I was allways wondering about one thing. Why send surfers to FPA instead of sending them directly to a sponsor ?
I can imagine it can improve ratios because it can filter the "click on everything, buy nothing" type of surfers bu it'll decrease the number of clicks. For me putting an FPA would be another obstacle, slowing down the process of sending surfer to the join page, probably confusing some of them too.

I hope you understood me. Please tell me what are the advantages of putting these FPA's.

Well.. I like to put FPA before sponsor to make users horny (and place there my moneybar or exit console) but redirecting/changing it to other sponsor (other that user is willing to see) probably is not the best idea...

It actually works.
There was a bukkake sponsor that stopped paying people, so I redirected all that traffic to another bukkake sponsor. I got 2-3x as many signups as before.
