I noticed, I have an old ARS4real check for about $150 that will be out of date on 22'th this month. In poland when I go with that check to the bank it takes about month to get it cashed. So when I'll go with the check today and it will get out of date during that month will It still be valid because , the date in which I went to the bank counts or.. ?

Second, If I'll do nothing, and the check will go out of date - the money are gone , or what happenes then ?

If it were me I would contact them and tell them their check had been misplaced and ask to have a new one issued.

If it were me, I would deposit the check anyway. Just because the check says it expires on a certain date, doesn't always make it true :) Most banks give you a year.

grzepa i would change payment method to an epassporte :)

btw. you can cancel depositing this check and they propably will require to send back it to them... or just do it like Jim said :)

some time ago i wanted to change my payment method from check to epassporte in ars4real and they did it but... next payment i received in check, not into epassporte account. i have asked support what's going on and they were apologising for it. They said also that, if i want to cancel check it would cost another 30$ ;) "Paper" was for ~50$ so i did an effort and walked to the bank last time :)

Thanks for the replys everyone, I'll try to cancel the check and have it sent to me via epassporte. If that fails I'll go to the bank with it.

Ive cashed in checks that where way-outdated. Didnt cause any problems.

I don't know how it works at ARS but I got similar situation with maxcash checks - I don't know why but they are the only ones that flies more than month to Poland usually.. LOL
I contacted MC and they cancelled them and just added missing cash to my next payment

ps. create account at citi bank and after 3 months you would be able to cash your checks in 10 days time for 15 PLN
