Just a reminder for all you tax paying US Webmasters - 3rd Quarter taxes are due today. I'm short as usual, but then again, last year was better in the Income column :(

I'll be heading over to the bank to get checks cut, then to the post office to send out the Certified Mail (I never trust sending tax money via regular postage) and then over to my Grandmothers for lunch :)

After that, I should be here all day :)

Taxes… yeah aren't they fun, not.
I do monthly deposits so that I don't end up spending the money and then being short every three months. I do mine electronically these days using This Page.

I spent a few hours washing and waxing my Vette yesterday. Now I get to take it out in this crap weather today.

The home remodeling GC came by yesterday. I really got a good feeling with him and loved his idea for moving my kitchen door over so that I would have a place for everything after the wall between the living room and kitchen is removed. Now I just have to see if I can actually afford him. He will have a quote for me within a week.

I'm going to Boston tomorrow-Sat and should be way more relaxed when I get back. ;)

Finishing a free site up then off to the gym after lunch.

Ah neighbors.... gotta love them.... the ones next door show up at 8am to start removing all the plywood and from the sound of it they also started repairing the damage they got.

My schedule is way the hell off now. Both of my kids are in school now, which should give me much more time to work, but I haven't yet climatized to this big quiet house. How can I work in this peaceful silence?

Sometimes my tranny slips out of gear on cold mornings. Oh wait... different kind of tranny, different kind of gear. My bad. :D

Oh how i'd cherish one of those days. My son is going to public school on the Net this year, and i'm teleworking 3 days per week so there is much togetherness. He opted to make tue/wed his weekend so he could spend with his Da who is also off those days. Yesterday after a trying day at DMV, a trying day at UPS trying to ship 2 boxes of tinned food to family in Jamaica, he tells me oh i think i'll stay home tonight, what are you cooking.

Right now i'd love to be packing a lunch and booting him out the door.

Landscaper is coming today to give me an estimate on my much neglected lawn. Some days i hate relatives. |angry| actually MOST days i hate them.

Looks like everyone evacuating has decided to come here for the wait - trying to get 5 more shelters opened up today as the 3 that were open are already full - will be around some today but looks like we're going to get some effects inland so mostly doing some putting up of potential flying objects :)
Looking at the radar - dont know just how much Ill be around for two days

Oh shit, taxes, I forgot it was the fifteenth, when you work at home the days just kind of drift by at times. One more useful service provided by GG&J, tax reminders!

No prob, I got the money, I got the forms here somewhere, just gotta get to the mailbox in time. It'll add a bit of excitement to my night's work.
