Blow Me?

Anyone else getting newsetters from a different board without knowing you signed up?

Dewdrop and I have recently started receiving newsletter emails from a board we have never even heard of.
I won't list the board here but its initials are JBM. I have tried to unsubscribe us both but they keep on coming |angry|

I get the emails too, but I am signed up & I don;t remember if I was getting them before I joined or after.

Of course, Jim & I can't really throw stones at people sending out newsletters to their webmaster email lists :D

Does GG&J send out a newsletter? If so, do I need to sign up for it?

Thanks

GG&J has a very good newsletter, I even read it. :)

There is a form to sign up with it near the top of this page.

I guess I don't really mind that I was put on the list.

My main problem here is that I get multiple copies and it will not let me unsubscribe. :(

Yeah I just started getting them too.
I signed up 5 or 6 months ago after looking at the posts decided that forum wasn't for me

I got multiple yesterday too..

Yet another company scrambling to make 10c as they go broke!

Yet another BS newletter, with nothing but crap in it, to delete!

Yet another 5 mins lost for webmasters who would rather be working!

I have understood that it's one of bigger sponsor's who own that board, and if you promote them they send you a newsletter and that way promote their board.

That is all good and fine and I do get and sometimes even read the sponsors emails. ;)

But I still would expect to be able to unsubscibe from them if I tried.

So hopefully someone will show up and say they are working on the problem of not being able to unsubscribe.
