Vancouver Show This October?????
 

Has anyone heard any rumblings of a conference in Vancouver this october?? I don't know what I'll do if there isn't one ... it's been a great for me for the past 3 years at least

I usually go to http://www.fubarwebmasters.com/galleries.htm to see what JFK has on his agenda, since he seems to go to every show - LOL - but I don't see Vancouver on there :(

Go for it! I didn't think last year's show was organized very well. The dinner that Guerilla Traffic put on was fantastic, but the scheduled seminars seemed to either start very late or didn't happen at all.

Definitely a tough job.

im up for dinner in Vancouver anytime...
somebody else arrange it though....

Vancouver would be great!! Altho it was pretty damn cold...I just hope that it's a lil more organized..they had a great turnout last year.|waves|

How does everyone feel about organizing at least a dinner (I'm thinking Don Francesco's - the italian place around the corner from the Crown Plaza) ?? ... If it grows into something else we can look at hotels, sponsors and all that crap ... but for now just try to get 10-20 peeps together up there for some mafia style spaghetti and veal.

With the shift of the exchange rate between the US and Canadian dollars, Vancouver has actually become a fairly expensive place to do business. Net in US dollars you are looking at a shift of about 25% in the last 18 months. That is a serious run-up.

I think that many of the people who migrated north to produce content more cheaply and to live better are seeing that it isn't working out right now.
