Is this because of security settings?

Somebody told me that if he opens this page:
http://www.3x-spot.com/main.htm he is asked to open/save the html to his computer (see attachment). There's absolutely nothing harmfull on that page. Only a script for bookmarking (after clicking a link), a trade script and a counter. When I open it, everything is normal (even after cleaning my cache). Could somebody try to open that page please to see if you get that same message? Thanks |
That page opens as code instead of a rendered page.

Now I don't understand anything anymore. To me it opens like a normal htm page.
I'm totaly puzzled here Btw, thanks Cleo |
I'm using Safari to browse which is usually pretty forgiving of bad code so there is something very wrong with that page.
I took a fast look and I saw some unclosed table tags and stuff. |
either mod_include isn't enabled and you have ssi parsing enabled (and an older version of apache), or, you are passing that page through a parser that isn't resetting the content type correctly (i.e. some other error preventing parsing, like permissions that prevent SSI parsing, etc)

Thanks again Cleo :)
I gonna screen that table stuff; I hope Greenguy don't read this thread :) Could you in the mean time try one more time this page please: http://www.3x-spot.com/main.shtml I suspect that also this could be wrong in my htaccess: AddType text/html .html AddType text/x-server-parsed-html .shtml .sht .html .htm AddHandler server-parsed .shtml .sht .html .htm Now I removed this and made a shtml page of it. Thanks |
Thanks cd34. We posted at the same time :).
I was already thinking it had something to do with that ssi stuff (don't know a lot about this) |
That fixed it. :)
