You stay away from CCbill sponsors?
Just checked some LLs and noticed most of them don't list CCbill sponsors in their paysites listings..
Talked to a LL owner and she told me she doesn't like ccbill because of all the scrubbings etc... I think they're missing some great sites and money from rebills |
I don't mind CCBill too much - I'm sure every CC Processor scrubs in their own special way. I do like these newer programs with the cascade billing under one acocunt :)
|
I have serious concerns about CCBill. |sad|
|
I tend to stay away from CCBill. I had a sponsor that was using them, but when the sponsor switched away from CCBill, the signups went through the roof, without chargeback problems.
|
Yeah cascade billing is the best... NATS would be great ;)
better ratios coz the user can choose between 6+ processors... end of the denials.. But I'm still making good money with CCbill sponsors.. promoting them from my tgps too around $60/sale with OliversGirls |bananna| and for LL traffic it should rock... LL users normally stay longer than the normal TGP user which signs up and cancels just to download everything and move on ... |
This email from xxxjay about OCCash really had me thinking about the other sponsors I use that are still on CCBILL
"After about a couple weeks of pre-beta testing, we are ready to start using OCCash V2. This is an email is going out to all of our old CCBill affiliates. We've been running cascading billing through NATS and the difference in the numbers is phenomenal... ...We are now running on a NATS backend, which is a huge improvement over using CCBill only. In our first two months running on CCBill only, we found scrubbing up to 30-40% of our sales and there is also the issue cookie loss for affiliates. The cascading NATS backend now tracks everything and is quite solid. Conversions for new affiliates have more than doubled. We will also have a few new sites that are pending Visa approval and free hosted sites for you to promote by the end of the week. " 30-40%! The only reason I still use ccbill sponsors is because of some of the smaller niches like handjobs, footjobs & creampies where if I dropped them, I'd have a lot loss sites listed. |
Yeah the OCCash announcement was very impressive.. from 1:1300 to 1:450 sounds great :)
But sometimes i prefer 1:1000 and 3+ rebills instead of 1:500 on $25 per console free sale :) |
Well CCBill has been sending us cheques every week for years.. so we aint worried..

It seems everyone wants something new from ccbill, I have never had a problem cheques from them, more than I can say for some processors/sponsors.
Is it just the totally crappy stats and interface that everyone doesn't like? or is it the heavy scrubbing? just curious. |
i dont have problems with ccbill sponsors , i use alot, always get my checks no problem here.|violin|

I tend to stay away from sponsors who don't use ccbill.
What's this NATS thing? |

Yes it wasnt apples to apples, actually he posted from the ccbill "sales per click" page which doesnt show all the sales just the ones that were tracked. Had he took the total clicks divded by the total sales, the ratio would be way lower. |
I'm too lazy to check everything strictly but I have nice CCBill check every week and that's the only thing that counts. |bananna|

like mpa ... allowes program owners to bill the clients with more than one processor...:) |
ccbill does way better than globill, globosale, psw, probilling, acpay and lancelot |bananna|
cheers, Luke |
The original question about why dont linklists seem to use ccbill programs might be more to do with history than any ccbill issue..
I didn't push almost any revshare programs for many years and I think that's similar to many LL owners. I listed them but never featured them. and there really has been a perception among a lot of webmasters I know that CCbill sucked for conversions for years.. I don't think that's probably correct when compared to epoch and ibill.. but it was said quite often. Anyway, i use a few ccbill only sites now and seem to do nicely on a few.. and I actually think out of the last group standing in that business, I would rate them probably the best myself now. Still think to do really well, a program needs its own processing arrangements though.. |
I don't do well at all with em, but like everything else in this biz, I'm sure their are plenty of people that are. Ya gotta try lots of stuff and stick with what works.
|
No need to stay away from CCbill sponsors :)
even if you join a program without a ccbill signup page they process a huge number of sales with CCBill :) |
My biggest check is week is from CCBill.
I personally love recurring as long as it is a sponsor that actually retains members. |

I'd give you some nice % ;) |
What is the URL of the paysite that I declined?
There are lots of reasons that I decline a paysite but CCBill is not one of them. |
