I am in the same boat as you guys and servers go down - but it hurts us little guys more that are almost a year old in this biz trying to build traffic..

yea this is why im pissed i guess iv worked my ass off for weeks, just to get my website good traffic .. then this happens ...this really sucks

True, it sucks - BUT: this is the first downtime I had in a looong time!

With other hosts I had much worse experiences! And whenever I have a problem Mike (their tech) is onto them really quickly: like once (their night time) I was at fault for bringing the server down with a bug in my .htaccess. When I noticed 3 hours later that the speed was really dropping and sent an email he had already re-booted the server... A few emails back and forth and he had the bug fixed, too!

glad everything seems to be working again now....

At least I woke up to my server working, that's good. And I have a server at another host too where 80% of my tgp galleries go so that's real good. :)

Folks, don't be quick to jump. I've had a server at Phatservers for probably 3 years and I can't remember the last time I was down. It has to be well over a year.

The question is were they working to fix it? And I saw them posting at another board saying we're working on it. |shake|

I agree, these guys rock usually. I just moved earlier this month from a shared box to a dedicated, and Mike Wesson made sure everything went real smooth. I don't remember any downtime over a few minutes since I have been there, and most of those were for equipment upgrades.

I am so glad they are back up, and I swear my sites are now 2x as fast as before the downtime, so I can't complain.
