Mod_rewrite for mirrors? how, help!!
Hi Everyone,
I've heard that you can use a subtle combination of PHP and Mod_Rewrite to dynamically create mirrors for freesites. How is this doen? can anyone point me to a good tutorial or give me any pointers. Do i have to do anything with .HTAccess? I can write a bit of PHP, but don't know how to begin with this one, so any help will be very gratefully recieved. Cheers Rayzor |
What do you want to accomplish with it?

Hi Swedguy,
Sorry for taking so long to pick up this thread again. To be honest i don't really know what the hell i'm trying to do with it. Someone on another thread suggested something to do with using rewrite modules and PHP so you can have 1 directory per site and then use URLs to manipulate which recips will be shown on the site. I can't get my brain to quantum leap past first base on this one. Can you suggest anything? |
