New Hotlinker
 

For those who deal with these here is a new hotlinker |lightsabe

He has been showing up in my stats for a while. But I don't have any images on the domains he hits. I assume it's people just looking for shit that's causing the hits.

Fucking pricks.

My stats refresh at 5:39 am EST. When I checked at 6:30am EST this morning I had over 4,000 hits to my images...well to my error page lol

First time my noticing him in my logs...prolly cause he was at the top!! |lightsabe

I just realised it was from one of the galleries you listed! You led him to me |knockout| j/k |jester|

i've noticed a few hotlinkers in my stats recently also. fusker has been there..

How do you guys feel about pic/porn forums hotlinking your pics and including a url to the page with thumbed pics?

I've had a guy that was doing this to my avs sites ( he also ran the message board) easily fixed with htaccess but for some reason it really pissed me off that he didnt ask first. He ahs a porn forum with hotlinked pics and his own banners above them..

I don't mind linking to the URL...but NOT the pics!! Pics don't fatten my bank accounts |pissed|

Ive noticed for a while that I often get hits from these page:

http://cs5.chatropolis.com/middle/bukkake_babes
etc.

When I try to check them out- they wont let me cause I dont have a password. Does anyone know how that work? Are they just downloading my pics or are they sharing gallerys?

Someone brings the URL of one of your pics into a chatroom and posts it. Everyone then click it.

Now this is a chat room so ppl have been talking about something, let’s say their favorite booby, So then they each post a pic they've seen that most closely emulates their desires. They link to your pic instead of your page. Meaning other that the poster no one has seen you ad/s. :(

Fusker is a bad one.

I had him linking to a gallery, no hotlinking, but I didn't want that either. I emailed him and he took it out and made it so noone could post to that url again.

hi there

don't you have setup .htaccess for hotlinkers? and also a good software is AHL, if you don't have a members area, is very good. it allows movie downloads ONLY if the user is actually on your domain, and you can send fuckers to a redirect url of your choice, dialer sponsors convert pretty good with such traffic, so you can even make some cash off it.
