The guy is offering free site submittals for $10 per site & promising to deliver 35K - 50K per day in traffic.

When asked how he plans to get around the 1 site per person per day rule that most LLs have, he says:

"I have respect for the owners of the free site websites and I do not want to reveal this information although it doesnt matter as of yet because I will not be submitting more than once per person."

Hmmmmm....

I saw that guy. I don't think he'll get that many customers. And if he does it's a maximum of 20 people so that won't make a big difference.

In reality there isn't anything wrong with what he is doing. He knows how to do something and if he indeed is making say 10 free sites a day for 10 totally different people then fine if the content is all different.

The problem of course is there is no way of knowing it's actually 10 different people he is submitting for so if cought he's BL and so are the people and their domains this guy will be building for.

I remember that moron, he can build 20k freesite traffic in 2 days, but is willing to work for $10 a day

That was my first thought. I've hired gallery submitters before, but they were set up to submit with my username & my email address using my own partner accounts. If I suddenly saw 20 new names submitting sites from the same location, I'd be suspicious.

I really feel bad for those people that get scammed by him - its a shame they will all get their domains and emails banned for the one wm rule - it will be pretty easy to catch with the mechanisms most of us have in play, although it will be interesting to see him try :)

I just thought the number of responses were really funny. Everyone seems to think he's discovered this new, fandangled shangri-la of traffic. What are these "free sites" you speak of, oh wise one?

What he is most likely looking for are the people who do not do free sites at all right now but have the money to spend on trying them.

I thought it was funny when he said 35-50K guaranteed within a week (which is high unless he submits to a damn lot of LLs) and for that he'll charge you $10/day so $70. With traffic of 35-50K a day he should be making 2-3 times that with a bad sponsor.

Can I just give him $10 for his special traffic secret and call it a day?

I can ban by domain, host IP, users IP, name server, user name, e-mail, and probably a few other things that I can't think of right now.

I also have submits checked by more then one ban list including the big shared one.

So what is the point of crap like this all it will get you is a place on multiple ban lists?

IMO I think those people are pipe dreaming and along with some other free site people..

Months ago I read that the owner could see PetCo Park from his house
That means he lives 5 miles or less from me
but I'll be fucked if I can see any reason to try and build any kind of a relationship with him

say the guy has 20 people who are interested. He charges them $10 a day for 30 days. 10x20x30=6k a month. Plus he is making the disclaimer page and the main page, so obviously its his referal codes in the disclaimer and main pages. If he's submitting 20 times a day to all the major LL's, he'll make his money.

The real question to me, is that free sites arent just a disclaimer a main page and two galleries, they all have to be the same background, the same color scheme, the same niche, etc. So if he's just grabbing any two random galleries he'll get rejected by most LL's and he'll have 20 unsatisfied cutomers.

hmmm.. I usually get 40-50 submits a day, today I got 80.. wonder if he has started his "project"...

Fonz - I was amazed how many domains I added to the blacklist today :) and I dont amaze easily

i dont see how it would be difficult for him to mask his identity. the hardest thing about masking your identity would be having your domains registered to different people (which is not really *that* difficult).

finding open ips to submit from would not take much effort at all.

i know people that submit 10+ free sites and 20+ galleries a day...

he must be posting the galleries to tgps on top of the free site subs to get that many hits

So do I - and they have all been added to the blacklist here - although the blacklist used by some of the LLs doesnt have them in it - Yet :)
Remember also that some LLs encourage more than one site a day - but I dont think you could get the type of traffic he's talking about without using something like a hitbot to produce the illusion of traffic like some recent LLs have done

The hitbot doesn't appear like a human user in a good stats package though, does it?

Meaning, average time of visit, unique IP, host, path the visitor took...

The hitbot would fall under like 1 IP range and the way it viewed a site would seem odd...I'd hope.
