I do not know how many of you remember willyb from the old ans board and chatrooms. He passed away last night around 4 am

It is sad not only to see someone go in an untimely manner, but to go at their own hands. I am always saddened to think that there was no other solution better than this.

Condolences to his family, friends, and everyone who knew him. May you never be faced with what he must have faced.

I knew WillyB. My first Internext was in Miami and the infamous boat cruise. WillyB and I hung out a bit and had a blast!

I'll miss him....

My heart goes out to those he left behind...

Oh man - this is a huge shock.

I really don't know what to say except that today, we lost a very good friend in the business.

It's always a shame to see good people leave us. I knew WillyB as a kind person always willing to help anyone who asked him. It's a terrible loss to any and all who knew him. You'll be missed. |sad|

WillyB gave me laughter on Dokk's...with his awful renditions of AC/DC.....he knew they were awful....he put himself out there for our enjoyment...

He was a friend of mine. I was his matron of honour in Vegas..when he remarried DoraP...

After he moved to Arizona...I didn't see much of him...and now he's gone.

My hands are shaking.

I was just chatting with him last week. I didn't know Willyb all that well but I did meet him and Dorap at the Chi AWE, and I was probably the biggest fan of willybc/dc at ans... Wow this really sucks. |sad|

Man its a sad day for sure Willyb was one great guy always there when you needed him what can one say he will be missed :(

One of the good guys, having never met Willy, I can still say we were mates, he was a special guy, and a rocking guitarist, he will be sorely missed

Spooky...the only reason that Kre has the fund in his name is because Dora is not computer savvy. At a time like this, friends do for friends..she'll get the money.

I didn't know WillyB well... but this is sad news... and I hope that his wife and kids will be okay.... I'll wait a couple days to see where would be the best place to send help her way....

if there is anyone else out there feeling so stressed that leaving is an option floating around in your head... please talk to someone... reach out... there is always help to be had... and there is always someone that will care... if they know you need help... if they know you need someone to listen... speak up... reach out... don't give up...

Still in shock since Raven called me yesterday with the news... thanks Sis... walking into it on the boards would have been worse...

So glad you "overstep your bounds" - I know that's one of the things that WillyB appreciated about you most - and part of why you were one of the few chosen to be there at his Vegas wedding. He knew you'd be honest to a fault.

Happy to see that things are being set up - none of us can even imagine all of the pain, worry, saddness and shock that poor DoraP and their boys must be going through right now. Glad to see that the industry can still come together at a time like this.

It's nice to see everyone posting... folks posting where they might not have ever posted before, for the sake of saying good-bye to a friend. That in itself speaks volumes about the affect that WillyB had on so many people.

Holy shit... always sad to see people go this way. I sure remember the BC/DC in Albumside too - it was hilarious.
