a good free site?
hey guys...
could u show me an example of a good free site... (A) :D |
I had the same problem... what I did was I went to Cleo's site and looked through the sites accepted there and you can get a pretty good idea of what will be accepted.
Stick to these rules: 1. No hardcore on the main page 2. 3 outgoing links per page 3. Under 12 recips 4. atleast 20 pictures 5. Stay away from low quality pictures 6. pics 500 pixels on the long side minimum 7. no full page ads 8. design so that your site is viewable on 600x800 res. 9. No blind links or banners that say "Enter Here" (just write some text above or below explicitly telling the surfer that clicking on the banner will lead them to another site) 10. Follow their specific rules on descriptions and title. Shall we call it "The Ten Free Site Commandments" lol. The only reason you wont get accepted if you follow those rules each time you make a new free site, is if you submit under the wrong category. Usually the reviewer will tell you which category they prefer to see it under so you can just go back and switch the recip. |buddy
Yeah go look at the new list of the LL you are looking to get listed on and see what the reviewers like!

I am not sure, but I think the question was a good free site as in design, layout, advertising and etc.
Not the rules? They are on every submit page. -_- Some times my sites follow the rules, but that doesnt make them good. |newbie
Not that i would know anything about good or bad sites - just my idea= a good site is one that SELLS. Same as prospecting for gold, you don't know where it's at exactly, just the whereabouts, but when you struck, keep digging until there's no more. Then you find another spot, and start digging. Tho i heard it's the shovel&pick-sellers find most gold.
