I'm still trying to get caught up from the designer fiasco last spring. That's what I'll be doing.

I noticed when I rebooted (I have DSL and max RAM so this only happens once a week) that my ISP (Yahoo) asked me when the first instance of my browser opened if I wanted "Yahoo" to perform all searches. I clicked yes. Although Verisign was doing very well for me |bananna| |bananna|

I was thinking of dressing up as Elvira and going to the nearest graveyard with my laptop and building some Goth stuff. That is the trouble with being on a laptop; you just never know where your office is. Then again it is too hard to find good Goth content plus DD still has my Elvira cum-fuck-me pumps. Maybe I'll just go to Boarders, do my reviews there, and see how many people end up standing behind me. |devil|

tomorrow: a little drive to see some fall color.. we've had zero rain here.. in the last 2 or 3 weeks.. and the weather has been beautiful!!! warm sunny days.. cool evenings.. i know we'll probably have 140 days/nights of rain to make up coming soon so i wanna get out while we can.. my son wants one last day on the beach so hopefully we can combine both..

This has got to be one of the funniest signs i've ever seen..and i plan to go tomorrow to take a picture of it.. i just can't believe the people who run this don't know.

today we are driving to downtown seattle to go to gameworks.. at a traffic light i see in the middle of the next block a sign for a daycare center.. but in driving by the name of the center was:

TWINKS early childhood development center.

Now surely these people do not know what the word twinks is..and even NON participants in the porn world know what that references..

I just got back from taking a picture of that sign..it has to be aClassic.. and hopefully if Walgreen's cooperates i'll soon have a pic to upload.. *i'm digitally impared at the moment*..

there are certain urban areas in any metropolitan city that urban "blight" has taken over.. however it's not long until the need for affordable housing hits...and the gentrification part starts..

..such is this neighborhood, Columbia City, in the Rainier Valley area.

and the 1st to move in are the immigrating ethnic groups. Here they are Sudaneese and Vietnameese.

next..is the 'gay' population and there are signs already of this happening. There is a new starbucks and a couple of trendy shops among the "pho" and "hair braiding" places.

Once the word is out that

"TWINKS Early Childhood Development Center"

is located there, i'm sure there won't be a basement studio, a week to week hotel room or a section 8 apartment to be found. all very tastefully decorated.
