Question for LL owners

Hi all,
I just expanded my submission list upto 88 or so different linklists, and would like to know the best way to set up the different recip pages.

I know the bigger guys tend to like to be with other bigger lists, and some lists have only index.html requirements, but for the rest of the LLs how do you like to see the recip pages?

Usually I have 12 recips per page, so I need to make 7 warning pages

index.htm, index.html, warning.htm/html.....then what enter.htm/html...ummm well this is why Im asking for |help|

Thanks and Cheers!

swedguy 2004-11-13 09:40 PM

Just make a subfolder for all of them. Then you don't have to think that "that LL accept this, and that LL accepts that"

/horny-mature/
horny-mature-xxx/
......

Sooner or later all LL's, that thrive to get bigger, will go away from index20.html and so on.

msanchez 2004-11-15 07:24 AM

So I need to upload everything in each specific subfolder? or just add an index page to a subfolder?

I thought everyone wanted everything in the same folder?

Im confused?

Thanks

Here's an example

ok I see that, but what about the rest of the pages, you change the /backdoor/ part?

Thanks for helping

Click on the link.

Click on "ENTER HERE" and you will see where it goes.
Do the same with "Anal Gallery 1" and "Anal Gallery 2".

Its s tricky one, I work like this;

I use an excel spreadsheet with the URL I am submitting and then list a link to each of the submit forms under the url to each of the LL I have linked to.

Some people stillt ake warn.htm - home.htm etc though as you say larger LL insist on index.htm / index.html

I would advise you make you submit list - then submit to everyone based on WHAT you have made, from this you should be able to see who rejects you / acepts you.

Once you have done this you can group your recips and ditch the crap.

Another tip is to make a web page which you store locally with all your recip tables/codes by niche - it will be a GREAT resource going forward esp if you focus on one niche.

Hope this helps, we list regardless of the entry page 'file name' :-)

Remember, this isn't rocket science, it's porn.

Don't think of the most complicated way to do something, think of the easiest way and work with it.

If you have 88 link sites to submit, break them into 11 lists of 8. Make 11 copies of the html of your site, and put them in folders on your domain.

Submit away.

Don't try to make it complicated, don't try to "find a trick"... just set it up normal and work it.

It's not hard.

Alex

Thanks all for the help , but I really still dont understand.

Now if I do this wont I have to upload everything to each folder so that everything is in the same folder?

I still wonder with Swedguys example how the other 7 warning pages will be?

Im sure this is simple as hell, Im just dense......

Im not trying to find any trick, Im trying to find how LL owners want it.

Ms Sanchez,
I think I may know where your confusion lies. What is being described to you is a method of making free sites assuming you have uploaded your images not into the folder your site is in but into an "image" folder.
Like your current site would be
http://www.mydomain.com/mycurrentsite/
Your images would lie in the image folder http://www.mydomain.com/images/mycurrent site/
ok all your images are in that folder so all you need do is upload 7 more folders containing only the html (index main and galleries) for your site each differently named and all drawing from that one set of images. That way each link list gets the index page and no one gets left out and you dont have 7 copies of your images just the html.
The other way works yes, but most link lists even the smaller ones would really really prefer to be on the index page and it is certainly easy enough to do that only takes a few more bytes to help yourself and them out(remember even those smaller lists will likely grow in time!).

A picture says more than a thousand words. :) The attachment shows how I do it. Each a,b,c,d etc. folder contains 1 index page. The "files" folder contains main and gallery pages and the "media" folder pics/vids.

Lemmy is close.

Instead of just having the index page in the folder, also keep your main and gallery pages there too. Only have the pics in a separate folder.

/mature/images/ - image folder

Recip group 1
/mature/old/index.html
/mature/old/main.html
/mature/old/gallery1.html - links go to /mature/images/01.jpg, 02.jpg....
/mature/old/gallery2.html - links go to /mature/images/11.jpg, 12.jpg....

Recip group 2
/mature/granny/index.html
/mature/granny/main.html
/mature/granny/gallery1.html - links go to /mature/images/01.jpg, 02.jpg....
/mature/granny/gallery2.html - links go to /mature/images/11.jpg, 12.jpg....

Why would it be necessary to duplicate the main/gallery pages? They're static/identical anyway and it just seems like unnecessary work and a waste of server space. But I will do it if LL owners have a problem with the way I'm doing things now.

Some LL's object against HTML pages jumping between different folders. The extra 20 seconds it takes to copy the main + galleries to each mirror folder isn't too bad :)

The extra server space is around 10-20kB per mirror :)

I dont have an issue with what the 'warning page is called'

quite a few of the LL I submit to dont either -

With the Bigger LL you need to do this everyone has their own rules - my main one is that page must open ;-)

msanchez 2004-11-18 11:36 AM

OHHHHH KKKKKKKAAAAAYYYY!!!! LMAO

Ok, I'll have to consider it then.
