what is the best thing to do with 404 traffic?
 

i have a ton of it and i am just feeding a tgp with it. i was thinking a page with our sites on them and then pop an exit off that as well. if i could get some ideas that would be cool. thanks.

I used to filter mine into a choice of niche sponsor hosted galleries.

If the 404 is from a "mature" site then send them to a "mature" hosted gallery.

Hah I've tried so many different things...

E-Mail proggys, free trial proggys, filtering off to niches, sending to a CJ ..... Just keep on trying different stuff...

It is usually mostly surfers snooping around looking for free stuff so send them to a hub of join for free sponsors.

On the Link O'Rama they get a 404 page that sends them back to the main page, but for most of my other domains, I send them to a FPA.

I have mine filtering to one of my blind link-free TGP's with just galleries of my own. That seems to be working out great, as it mixes with SE traffic as well!

Great ideas guys! Re-routing my 404s is one of the things on my TO DO list that I never got around to doing. Whoops!

404 traffic is useless... just send it to me :-)
